    TURNIGY continues to lead the way in compact AC battery chargers with the ACCUCELL S60.

    This unit has been designed to balance charge battery packs up to 4S and has more than enough capacity too, with a 60W maximum charging current of 6A and a discharge current of 2A.  It has a high-performance micro processor that controls charging and discharging and is suitable for use with all current battery types including LiPo, Lilon, LiFe, NiCd, iHM, PB and the new generation LiHV with a high end voltage of 4.35V.

    TURNIGY knows that safety is paramount around battery chargers and like all of their designs the Accucel S60 has many safety features including terminal voltage control, automatic charging current limit, capacity limit, temperature threshold and processing time limit, built in to minimise the risk of overload/overcharging. 

    The free “Charge Master” software gives you unparalleled ability to operate the S60 charger through your computer. You can monitor pack voltage, cell voltage, resistance and other data during the charging process and view charging data in real-time graphs.

    “Charge Master” will prove to be a valuable tool for monitoring battery performance. All you need do is to download the software to your PC and connect a USB cable between the charger and your PC.

    I purchased this to replace my old charger that finally gave up the ghost after many years. I only charge one battery at a time so this was ideal for me. So far it has worked perfectly so no complaints.

    Good cheap charger

    This is the second of these that I have bought. They are simple to use and "it does what it says on the tin".
    Only real niggle I have is that it will only charge NiMH batteries with 6 to 8 cells so it will not charge my glider 4 cell pack.

    Nice Charger But Balance Charging Not Great

    This Charger is great for the price, easy to use and few options including storage charge for Lipo’s which we all need in the hobby.
    My only negative is that on Balance charge on my 3s 11.1v 650Mah Heli Packs cell one & two will be 4.17 & 4.16 but cell three always over like 4.21-4.22 which is not so great.
    There’s no reason why a charger like this should not be able to get all three cells at 4.20 across the board after charging really which puts this on par with the horrible usb chargers you get free with most Rc Heli’s which is what I was hoping to get away from.
    Main plus like I said is a storage charge but not tried this yet mind.
    Other wise very good build quality and size excellent, I’m guessing I will have to spend allot more money for a more accurate balance charge.

    Versatile but not sure about reliability

    This charger works very well and is very versatile,however after using it probably 20 times the cooling fan has started to be very noisy when the unit begins to warm up. if this gets worse it may have to go back.

    It's my first lipo charger, I can't give any judgments... It charge my 5200mAh 2S 30C in 1 hour and 20 minutes @ 1C (5.2A), not became hot, it sound louder when finish, have a lot of safety options like temperature and mAh cutoff, timer and other functions very usefull like battery meter (show total and single cell voltage) and memory programs. It have a little fan on right side.
    It balance good my battery, at most i only saw a difference of 0.02v per cell (measured with external battery meter). I think is good.
    Is just a little bit louder.
