TURNIGY continues to lead the way in compact AC battery chargers with the ACCUCELL S60.
This unit has been designed to balance charge battery packs up to 4S and has more than enough capacity too, with a 60W maximum charging current of 6A and a discharge current of 2A. It has a high-performance micro processor that controls charging and discharging and is suitable for use with all current battery types including LiPo, Lilon, LiFe, NiCd, iHM, PB and the new generation LiHV with a high end voltage of 4.35V.
TURNIGY knows that safety is paramount around battery chargers and like all of their designs the Accucel S60 has many safety features including terminal voltage control, automatic charging current limit, capacity limit, temperature threshold and processing time limit, built in to minimise the risk of overload/overcharging.
The free “Charge Master” software gives you unparalleled ability to operate the S60 charger through your computer. You can monitor pack voltage, cell voltage, resistance and other data during the charging process and view charging data in real-time graphs.
“Charge Master” will prove to be a valuable tool for monitoring battery performance. All you need do is to download the software to your PC and connect a USB cable between the charger and your PC.
So if you are looking for a charger or are thinking of upgrading your old Accucel then the S60 is definitely the charger for you.

very good charger, have had it for a few weeks and so far so good. Not very hot when charging. The fan is a little loud but acceptable. Charge slightly slower than B6 but this one support LiHV which is good.Excellent little charger for the money! An upgrade for me as able to check individual cell resistance is a great way to monitor/compare batteries. I recommend if you are looking for a compact easy to use 2 to 4 s charger. This charger is horrendous. After reading the manual cover to cover I tried to employ the system to charge some batteries. It charged the 1st one, then refused to connect to my others.
On the bright side, it catches 7.62x54r rounds very well...Balances very well. All of the voltages are exact. Charges pretty fast, and very small. Has a fan that runs when temps get high.
Uses a similar firmware as the B6 AC, however this is calibrated much better and charges faster. You can't beat the price on this unit. It's charging up my turnigy 4000 mAh 2s 30 pal as we speak. Controls are easy to use. Programming your specific battery is easy. Definitely a good buy.Good Charger, the things that bother me a bit is that it dosnt include balance board, would be nice to have it also as a DC charger, nimh/nicd battery charging is also not good maybe if it had 4 or 5 cell charging but only charges 6-8 cells, lipo and life charging are really good, customizable programs are really nice feature, comes with pc software that is downloaded from http://www.skyrc.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=20&product_id=216So far so good. Seems to be a bit more stable than my B6 copy. Had the B6 set up with an old computer power supply so my charging station is now a little less cluttered. Great AC charger at a great price if you are charging 2S-4S packs. No complaints here!Got one of this,
it's a very nice charger, for me it has all the function same with B6AC, just this support up to 4s only.
if you din't plan to use 5s or 6s in future, this is a great charger and worth the price.Nice little charger. It is good for a lot of applications. 2- 4 cells at 6A up to 60W.
There are lots of features and easy to navigate. The IR measurement is a bonus. It is AC only but who doesn't run chargers at home? It also handles the new LiHV packs. Charged a graphene 1300mA and the balance was good on the charge. The only complaint is I don't hear really well and missed the end signal. When I am charging a lot of packs, I want to know when it is done. It is small so it will fit on a crowded workbench. This is a great charger. It is limited to 4S batteries, but for the price I'm not complaining. It has been a very reliable charger for me so far and it is very easy to use.
