    Product Description

    Aerostar products are renowned for their excellent high quality airplane components. Their accessory line is further enhanced with this series of laminated cherry wood propellers designed primarily for gas engine applications. However as the power of brushless motors continues to grow the demands on the propellers you use gets greater and greater so these propellers would also be excellent on these higher powered electric motors.

    These high quality laminated cherry wood propellers are precision machined for efficiency and almost perfect balance straight out of the package. Pre-drilled with a slightly under size propeller shaft hole, this allows you to ream to the exact diameter of your gas engine crankshaft. For added safety and good looks we have painted the tips of each propeller red so that you can see the prop arc when your engine is running. Each propeller is finally finished with super tough lacquer that seals the wood to provide years of use.

    Aerostar offers a wide range of sizes and pitch combinations of these propellers to suit most airplanes from parkflyers all the way up to giant scale airplanes.

    not exactly what I paid for

    Size declared 15 x 4; what arrived is 15 x 6. Else, additional scraping inevitable in order to achieve proper downside airfoil as well as balance. As a result, cannot be used for the intended engine but for a different engine - still as a nice prop.

    Very nice propeller to use and its light - BUT the slightest touch when landing or other - the laminations split. You need to check the prop after every use very carefully as I have had them look fine till running hand along the blade and find the sharp edge of the split ... press on tip and it opens up.
    HK used to do a wider stronger blade 15x4 which was far superior ... but now its discontinued and this is only 15x4 with HK. I use these with my RCGf 15cc gasoline engine on my Zlin Z50 70 class model. Perfect match.
