The popular Naze32 is here! Initially designed for use with small to mid-sized multirotor craft, it has become the go-to controller for a host of Multirotor projects and propheads.

The infamous Hamasaki AKA “timecop” was not happy with the limitations and performance an 8-bit MCU could deliver on current FC platforms, so he set out to make a flight controller that could take just about any demands a developer could throw at it, and thus was born the Naze32. At the heart of the Naze32 is a 32bit ST micro work horse of a processer, with untapped memory and cpu power and a host of equally impressive sensors. The Naze is also matched up with some of the nicest GUI programs and features to get the most out of your configuration.

The Naze32 comes as the most complete Acro Version yet, with both pre-soldered 90deg pins for your preference and a matched break out harness.

The HobbyKing version is fully authorized and royalties are paid to the developer on each Naze32 sold.

Features:
• Flexible motor outputs, support various airframe types:
Quad/Hexa/Tri/Bi/Y4/Y6/Octo/Camera Gimbal. (Default is Quad-X)

Works ok

Jun 20, 2017

Seems the other reviews are old news. I'm regretting purchasing this.
First I did flash to beta flight 3.1.7 with no issues and it runs ok, but only upto 1.3k Hz
Being a noob I was misled by the "rev 5" thinking it was F5 as in >F3. As of June 2017, I will suggest you need an F3 to run 2kHz control loops.
Also, it was rather a pain desoldering the pin headers which interfered with my stack.
Be warned. Might look like a good price, but perhaps you should look elsewhere.

Been flying my home-made quad 3 weeks with this controller and i love it !
I flashed Cleanflight on it and quickly got up to speed with the configuration.
Very stable once properly setup and calibrated !

If you want to save yourself some hassle on a custom frame without a pre-determined flight controller place, buy the acrylic protection case, it's almost impossible to mount it flat without it XD

Love the board it is way better than kk 2.1 I spent hours setting the kk2.1 up. I spend maybe 20 min. max and was up and flying it is way better than kk2.1. The Naze32 is the go to board. The only problem I had when setting it up was my windows 10 64 bit computer was not recognizing it. Well come to find out through troubleshooting it my micro USB cable was bad. For anyone have problems connecting it to a computer or computer not recognizing it try a different micro USB cable. Otherwise it is a awesome board would not buy anything different.

excellent conroller, im very happy with it as it offer a lot of programable setups that you cant do it with a kk2,1, the stabilization its really good, using it with cleanflight provide a lot of options so you can customize the behavior of your quad exactly the way you want it

It might be me, but I've just bricked a second one using the instructions and the software above. I am wondering if I even need to do the updates Hobbyking is telling me to perform given they are from 2013, but I don't think I will give this one another chance to screw me over. Give me something wrapped in plastic and operating out of the box through simple software please instead of 3 different programs and a problematic putty configuration line interface. :(
