Great item that works perfectly on my air up spring down set up. Takes a bit of setting up as if the actuating arm is pushed all the way in then, as mentioned above, all pressure is lost from the system. Gear to the nozzle next to the servo end of the plunger and feed to the middle nozzle and it works fine. Just mark the plunger at the point when the gear extends and set the servo up to travel that amount and all will be well.

Great price great product, as usual

Neat unit.Good value.

Easy to set up and use.

Light weight with no leaks.

Just operate a few times by hand to get the seals lubricated.

Iam wondering if it would work with demineralized water to form hydraulic system, because that would be very powerful servo made from this, if i use windshield wiper gear pump, pistons from here or some big medical syringes, linear potentiometers and servoamplifiers.

Are there any dedicated servoamlifiers?

I would use that in my next above-kilo robotic arm.

Works just as good as the Robart valve (and looks the same), and it's a third of the price! Actually, this is where I think Robart gets most of their stuff ... even the air tanks are identical, and one fifth the price.

First class unit works well with mid-sized retracts. Holds air pressure well and can be operated with a 5 gram servo. Can be crazy glued to a balsa board along with servo to make a tidy valve.

Stripped the unit to see why the unit was jammed and found that the unit's O-rings were very oversized when I eventually got the stuck plunger out from the body. Not sure what can be done other than to try and source some better fitting O-rings.

Hobby King needs to check these before despatch as I suppose a batch of incorrect rings have been fitted.

Jammed solid when received. Not good, obviously despatched like it. Will have to strip unit and see what the problem is.
