I bought two of these. One worked just fine, one stopped working after 3 cycles. Never left the ground. Sent back under warranty & Hobby King credited my account. Bought a replacement & it stopped working after 2 cycles. HK again credited my account. I gave up on having 80 degree retracts & reinstalled my 90 degree retracts which have been 2 airplanes with no problems.

Bought 2 of these for my 5kg Mustang.
1 stopped working during the tests. The effort needed to retract the wheel caused a transistor meltdown. It seems that there is no overload security as other retracts...
Moreover, there is no lubrification of the mecanism.

Good quality. But i don't think that they are 80 degrees - that is very bad in my case. HK please give true technical specs. After small changes it could be usable in my 5kg Hexa. This will be my first hexa with rectractable landing gear.

The good new (!!) is that they are 85 degres and not 80 which is perfect for most warbird or aircraft with 'classic' dihedral. Quality is average. Mine work good so far.

Bought 5 of these to build a retract system for a Hexacopter.

2 of the 5 I have bought have already stopped working. Nothing happens. no movement, no noise, nothing. The craft weight 4Kg, so it is not overloaded, and it is running off the A2 voltage which is 5v so it is not overpowered.

Stay away from this product unless you want it to fail miserably.
