I am so pleased with these retracts! I had pneumatic spring down types in it before this and got tired of every year replacing o-rings and tracing down air leaks!! So I bought these to give them a try. Wow! Cost was good and they perform perfectly! Every flight now is completed with my gear where I want them :) In the wheel wells! Not coming down 3 minutes into the flight. I also bought the scale type suspension struts to add to the effect and they also work brilliantly. Adds just enough suspension for a soft touch down with a heavy plane like this one. These struts are extremely well built and handle the loads of this 15lb airplane perfectly. Love this purchase and upgrade and really enjoying and old friend once again.

i use this oleos on 6 kg seagull yak 3u and friend uses them on 2000mm 12kg fokewolf.... they do a great job. they could be a little more massive for the looks, but ower all, great oleos for the price. they start to compress at around 5/6 kg. i recomend to anyone, even for expensive airplanes

Rubber wheel 3.5" need be little sanded to fit.
Very hard spring cca 7,5 Kg to full press.
Nice design. Will be used in the P-51D Top Flite.

Beautiful Oleo's, lots of "pride of ownership" in these !

Actual measurements are:-
Max Wheel Diam is just barely 3.5" you need to shave a smidge(1 Thou) off the tires or the alumin stirrup to allow 3.5" wheels to spin freely.
