    Product Description

    Aomway released their new 5.8GHz, 7 Turn 11dbi tuned reflector base helical antennas. 

    The Aomway 7 is supported by a precision cut glass fiber frame and PCB tuned reflector. The antenna includes a flexible coaxial adapter letting you achieve virtually any installation angle of your setup.

    Helical antennas are designed for maximum range, having a tighter focus than an Omni or patch style antenna. Helical antennas also have a broader “tune” range and have great gain across the entire 5.8GHz band.

    Note: Helical antennas have a narrower focus for further range, so it's recommended to be used in a diversity system and or antenna tracker setup for the ultimate in video lock and range.

    Just as good as the ones that cost three times as much. I use it on a diversity setup pointing towards a wooded area I like to fly in and I start to loose radio signal before video.

    Quality product would buy again or recommend to a friend. I just found the cable a bit flimsy for the weight of this Antenna. May buy another and cut it down a few turns.

    as already stated Antenna arrived and AOMWAY spelled wrong on the box but thats where the negatives end.
    its an amazing antenna i flew to 4km today with perfect picture and surprisingly i flew to 600m behind myself no problems.
    At 3km it starts getting sensitive to where you point the antenna i was running it on my fatsharks so i could adjust the quality by moving my head to get the perfect picture.

    for the money this is a steal!!!

    great helical antenna for the price, i cut mine down to a three turn and works like a dream, i would definitely recommend this antenna for a basic ground station of a goggle mounted antenna, beware of the narrow beam though ( thats why i cut mine down to three turn )

    Brilliant for the price. Works just great and it's heavy for using on FatShark goggles. I were surprised how well it works even when pointing off target. Within 1KM you can point in almost any direction! - I've used to 4KM's without any issue and plan to go further on 5.8
