The Aomway 5.8GHZ receiver with built in DVR is the perfect accessory for your FPV system! This micro SD DVR (Digital Video Recorder) allows you to easily record everything you see and hear from your FPV model's camera directly to a micro SD card. This eliminates the need for bringing your laptop or other DVR device to the field.

The Aomway DVR Receiver is nice and small in size for easy integration into your ground station, but big in quality and features. The receiver uses the same two button interface, one for the band and one for channel with a bright LCD, making channel swapping a breeze. There are two independent AV outputs for both audio and video, one is processed by the DVR for playback or blue-screen monitor, the other is DVR Bypassed for latency free video.

Use the DVR to record your flight, for when your significant other asks where you were for the last 4 hours. Powering the receiver at the field is as easy as plugging in a 2~6 cell lipoly into the included prewired cable. It just doesn’t get any simpler than this.

*For best range and video link stability we recommend using circular-polarized, Patch or Helical Antenna Set (SMA) available below in the accessory’s tab

OK receiver/DVR combo, but I do not really like the colors, and the DVR uses AVI, and way to noisy video. Works as announced, but is not great. My 5802 screen has a much better image than what I get out of this. So thinking to replace it with something better.

I've recorded from a camera on a RC rock racer, a trip through the garden. Sound is good and play back on the video and when transferred and watched on computer. Every bump and motor sound are clear and perfectly audible. I used the Turnigy FPV 200 set, PRODUCT ID: 640000006-0, on the car for the experiment. I'm very happy with the receiver/recorder performance.

I've powered up and hit bad news. I do get a signal but it seems like the unit is scanning all the time. I do not get any blue screen on both outputs, but just snow and a second of video or menu. To push the ok for 5 seconds does not stop the "scanning" but does jump between picture, snow, menu, snow, picture, snow..... forever. Any ideas ??????

I have had this items for over a year but just around 6 months the DVR side spotted working. I the non DVR side is still working just fine. I did buy a all in one unit but the range is half of this one. The range is amazing for having one antenna and was way better then my old eBay one. I will add a DVR but wish they sold a replacement part for the one inside this. I have tired to update the file but it will not work??

When it works, the recording quality is good compared to other DVRs I have been using.
But the channel selection is totally unreliable / malfunctioning which makes the recorder of little use cause I cannot trust it. Maybe I just got a bad one.

This is slightly larger/thicker then my old RC832 RX, but the built-in DVR makes it worth it. I love being able to record any flight with the push of a button. The recorded video is very sharp and clear. It fits nice and snug in the RX pocket on the Quanum DIY FPV Goggle V2.
One piece of advice: always make sure to stop recording before you power down the RX, otherwise it will corrupt the currently recording video file.

Decent receiver for the money. Not the best out there as far as image, recording and interface quality, but it's a good choice if your on a budget and don't mind something that isn't quite the best. I have found it has good latency outputs on both the processed and raw feed jacks, relatively high recording quality and a wide range of compatibility options with transmitters. My only real complaint is the recorded video files burn up memory quickly. I recorded a 60 second clip and it used 470MB.
