For those wishing to operate their FPV aircraft and Arkbird autopilot using more than 3S (3 cell Lipoly). Arkbird have produced this upgrade power supply for 2~6S (5.0~22.2V) input. Previously, modellers wishing to use the Arkbird autopilot and OSD were restricted to using 3 cell Lipoly meaning, if you had a 4 cell setup, you had to run your autopilot and OSD from a separate battery. This in turn meant that you didn't have the benefit of monitoring the battery voltage via the indicator on the OSD. With the new upgrade 2~6S power supply, you do!

This is a plug and play upgrade/replacement unit for the Arkbird autopilot and OSD power supply giving all the benefits of Arkbird features to most setups.

Features:
• XT60 connectors
• No soldering required
• All leads included

Specs:
Dimensions: 29.5x38x57.5mm
Weight: 37.5g
Input Voltage: 5.0~22.2V (2~6S Lipoly)
Output Voltage: 12.6V
Max Current: 1.0A

The current sense is 100x better than the stock unit and everything is running fine on a single 4s - happy camper so far.

Mine lasted about 10 minutes. It is a good job it happened on the ground as I am building a long range FPV plane.
I am awaiting a response from HK.

It Works but it Shows only 20A Max Even I am pulling 38A so also the mAh measuring is quit inaccurate now.
Would like to know if some others have the same problem?
I am using 4s!

Works really well! Im using it on my Skyfun, 4S and pulling 60 amps. It saves me some weight powering everything with a single 4S.
And Im not sure the stock would take 60 amps

I can't really say i can properly rate this product yet, as i believe i got a duff unit, after plugin it in to 4s 5000mah and to Autopilot as per diagram in tabs (made by Arkbird ppl themselves), a minute later the upgrade unit went up in smoke, i disconnected the battery quickly and let it coll down for about 5 min, plugged in original 3s unit to test if Autopilot is ok.

Well outcome - Autopilot has now no Voltage output from Vid Out pins so no power to Video TX as tested with volt meter. Might be other problems but cant really say and afraid to find out.

Opened RMA sent both Upgrade unit and Autopilot to UK warehouse for further testing. I just hope i got a duff unit :( So keeping my hopes high as i believe it is worth every penny.
