Fantastic engine and lots of power from a small power plant. I cant recommend this enough great little 2 stroke.Excellent moteur pour son prix, tourne très bien, pas trop bruyant.
Je l'ai acheté en remplacement d'un OS 46 LA pour le monter sur un calmato sport 1.60m, hélice 11x6 (je vais tester une 12x6 plus tard).
La fixation du moteur est un peu plus large mais j'ai pu conserver le support d'origine en le réglant au maximum.
La différence de performances est importante, meilleur reprise, prend plus de tours, masse du moteur à peine plus élevée que l'OS.
J'ai démonté le moteur à la réception pour le vérifier, la qualité de fabrication est bonne, les deux roulements sont des roulements Japonnais, la bielle est bien lubrifiée, que du positif comparé au OS 46 LA et pour deux fois moins cher.
Bref que du positif et en plus hobbyking vend des pièces de rechange si jamais.i run it for almost 2 years and i must say that the engine is FANTASTIC. I had to trim the low rpm neddle but then after the engine is wow..!! I won the second place on a economy race the first time that i participate..!! The rules were for .40 engines and won with this .52 ASP. Inside the fuel tank there were left 10ml of fuel from the total 100ml that was provided, cause i did not trim well the pipe clunk. I made 15 sec more than the first one. Both of us were on the 29min .
I have had a great time with this motor. Power and response to thottle characteristic of expensive OS motors. I do not see a need to go back to OS engines. This motor is solid!Compr este motor para un Calmato sport porque tenia un motor 46 pero senta muy pesado el avin . Con este nuevo motor 52 se siente la diferencia en la potencia es un excelente motor Lo nico es que es muy duro para asentar al principio pero con unos 6 tanques de combustible y una pala 11x6 se asienta excelentemente .

So far so good, thanks a lot HK!It is the first time I use a chinese glow engine on a plane. I've been using Japanese engines like OS and SAITO. I'm really impressed with the performance and quality of this engine. With APC 11X7 prop, 1,950~12,000 rpm. Be aware of low speed needle setting : 0.5~1 turn from fully tighten, not 2~3 turns like the others.yes. it's really good and cheap price. i was bught last year in october. it still working good.
im recommend to RC engine biggner. if you buy ASP52. you have to fully understand and read a manual. or requrier help to your menberPoor quality on carbrouter connection screw housings. They've became stripped
Even with gentle forcing and now it's leaking air. I'd suggest to not deal with this engine unless you're good on retrofiting such issues.I was mistaken in my earlier review. The motor seemed stuck but it turns out that it was at its top dead center. Everyhing looks in good order for now. once i run the brake in i will report.
