Want a plane that can take on anything? Born from the same stable as our best-selling SkyMule, the AVIOS Bush Mule is the sturdy workhorse of the sky. Taking rough terrain, water and snow in it's stride, this Plug and Fly model plane uses twin-powered motors to soar through the skies.

Touch down with precision by using the 90° barn door flaps to slow the plane's descent while landing. The AVIOS Bush Mule is fitted with broad wheels, similar to our popular Tundra models, to ensure a smooth landing even on rough terrain. Perfect for short take off and landings, this RC plane was designed for all conditions and all terrain.

Use the in-built cargo door in the tail to drop candy or launch a parachute during flight. You can also purchase floats to land your AVIOS Bush Mule in your local pond, pool or river. Packed with amazing features, the AVIOS Bush Mule is our most verstaile plane to date.

The one big problem with this plane, is after all of the upgrades they made from the skymule, is the servo and light connections in the wings. Why in the heck didn't the upgrade this connection like they did with the tundra instead of dealing with some short servo connectors that you have to manipulate into a small crevice in the wing. Other than that, this plane is very stable in the air

Order the Bush mule and unpacked, no freight damage and with some effort and thought ( REALLY poor instructions). I have been into RC planes for 40 years and do yourself a huge favor !! When you order the plane, go ahead and order metal gear servos. They all worked fine for grand total of one day. I assembled plane, following day, keep in mind it NEVER left the work bench, I had servo failure, yes indeed...This has to be a new world record for worlds shortest life span of a servo. Submit a claim on failure and get reply following day, no explanation...JUST CLAIM REJECTED. New world record for poor customer service and poor communication. When you are shopping and thinking about a purchase, take the council of an old man. Move on... Go to Tower or Horizon hobby, may cost more, but will save you huge amounts of distress, grief and if you DO have a problem. I guarantee you will get a lot more information than "Claim Rejected". You feel lucky or brave, go ahead and purchase from HK,help them add to their reputation as the worlds worst hobby supplier.

I have both Skymule and now Bushmule. What can I Say ?
It does the sames as Skymule and even better. It flies a little bit better than skymule.
As I land on the grass(not smooth at all) I'm happy with these big wheels, I did'nt bend the front gear.
I didn't use yet the flaps neither for take off nor landings, didn't do for this maiden any adjustments on the plane, only subtrim the servos to get the neutral.
It Have a good handling as the Skymule but more draggy and less speed than the Skymule(wing struts and big wheels must be a reason).
I found it less aerobartic than it's old brother however i used full servos travel.
The mods I did : change all importants servos(ailerons, rudder, pitch) to MG90S as I don't put my trust in original servos.
I added a 5v/5A external bec and isolate the red wire on each Aerostar plug. I plan to change ESC to YEP 60A or 80A to get more gap for security, later I will replace remainings Avios servos to MG90S, give a try to 10x5x3 propellers and compare how many Amps they draw and after do the same with MAS 10x7x3 wich one drive the Skymule by the past.
Hereunder 2 videos of the maiden flight :
I used Turnigy Heavy duty 3300 mAh 60C 4S, I finished after 5mins 30 secs at 3.80v on each cell :)

Lights are only for dark and rainy days(I will install an HK superbright light led system beyond a 3.3V/3A bec).
Time passes but pleasure remains in this new version. I will see how long will it last.

I have about 10 flights with the BushMule and I'm having a blast with it! I'm running the Zippy Compact 4s 3300mah 40c lipos (the yellow one) and its got gobs of power to go straight up. It has great role rate for some nice sport flying. The only issue out of the box is the stiff nose wheel. Id recommend replacing it with a softer wheel. One thing to look out for in flight is the stall. The Bush Mule has a mean stall that will send you spiraling in and needs some distance to recover. For that i wouldnt recommend this as a first or even second plane but once you get good at flying, its a definite must have .

This plane is powerful to make some aerobatic flying.... look at this video https://youtu.be/77V6sux6zDw

After about 20 flights on wheels and floats, I can report that I am very happy. The Bush Mule flies nicely and tracks well. Lots of nice improvements compared to the Sky Mule. The Bush Mule attracts a lot of attention at the flying field. I set mine up with differential thrust on the motors, mainly for better handling on the water with floats. I did strip out the servo for the nose wheel steering, but this was entirely my fault due to a very hard landing. I replaced the servo and installed some "servo saver" springs to absorb the shock. Overall, a great plane.

Was having a lot of fun with the mule dropping parachutists out of the cargo door until one motor started stuttering badly. Found a loose solder connection on the esc that plugs into the motor. Other than that quality issue, the plane flies great!

Looks good however after waiting so long on pre order second flight it crashed due to cheap servos. Elervator servo stripped on take off resulting in a smashed brand new bush mule. Awaiting hobby kings responce. Looking below it's not the first one and won't be the last.
