I received my Mitchell a few days ago, and as I am in the throws of putting the Hobbyking Hur ricane together, I will assemble it later. However I have had a good checkup of the Kit , and WOW it is excellent value, and the EPO moulding very scale..........I will do a flight review when ive flown the Hurricane. Even at 148GBP its fantastic value

ordered it in mid december and recieved it 5 days later from usa wharehouse and it was in perfect condition.

This is my first plane fromHK. I read all the comments posted here the good and bad ones and I can tell u that I am glad I bought it this thing is great for the money. Actually its awsome. I would give it more crowns but after having a few incidents on landing this heavy bird (this is not for beginners it requires lots of power to fly even on landing) Ive found no replacement parts like engine cowls, nose cone, gear hatch and hinges, props etc. If HK would sell these easily and needed parts the rating could be higher. I dont care how good an rc pilot u think u r at some point you will damage it. So please HK lets see these parts available soon everyone needs them. With all that said I would recommend this plane for any intermediate pilot it looks beautiful in the sky.

The model looks great on the ground and in the air but that is where the good qualities end!

Construction: the airframe is solid and easy to assemble but the control linkages are a mechanical disaster.

Flying: THIS PLANE IS FOR PROFICIENT PILOTS ONLY!! I have been flying for 8 years, from micro to giant scale gas and this plane is still getting the best of me. It is quite heavy and underpowered, the 2200mah pack yields poor performance and short flight times. This plane has a wicked stall anything less than 70pcnt power is in the danger zone and landings require 50pcnt or so to be left in till touchdown. If you hit the low voltage cutoff your in real trouble, without power this plane will stall and spin in the blink of an eye as I learned on the maiden flight.

She looks good in the air but if your using the recomended battery, set a timer for 3min and that should give you enough time for one go around if you dont fly a big pattern when you do it.

I have just received my B25. It's huge! It is well made, 'easy' to build and almost ready to fly. Flight that is still planned due to bad weather.... but I can say one thing. In my opinion the cables are a bit short. it would be great to add 10 centimeter each cable to reach the receiver in a more compfortable way. That's the only thing that I may suggest... it is a great plane and I am really looking forward for its maiden flight...

The plane is nice "BUT" the powerpack that come with it is very weak not enough power for the weight. To be honest it flight terrible to under power with more juice it maybe a total different thing but the way it comes is no good unless u what it for display ...

The plane is beautiful, but the engines do not pay the plane flies without power, runs a serious risk of stalling and falling, urgent need to replace the engines but do not know what to put.

Spent 2 evenings putting the b-25 together and checking it out and was impressed with the eaze of construction and the end result. Retracts work nice and like the gear doors and the lights are a plus also. after first flight apparent I need more prop than the little skinny one's can give. must say pretty nice airplane keep speed up a little on landing and its happy. Pleased with purchase. Ordered b-17 could'nt stand it.

The model is spectacular, beautiful and too easy assembly, comes almost ready p flight, the manual is not very explanatory, the downside in my opinion is that the plane flies on the edge of the engine, the motors are weak and do not give much room, can not fly without being with maximum power and yet he flies almost Stoll, the model deserves stronger engines. Hugs to all of So Paulo - Brazil

I received my plane 3 days after they shipped in the mail. Everything inside the box was intact no damage. After two nights at working a little at a time I have it ready to go to the field. I have read somewhere, but can not find it that some one used 2- 2200 3s 25c packs in parallel to power this plane. The compartment has enough room end to end, but makes it nose heavy it looks to have enough room side by side with a little modification and then would have enough room to move them back and forth to acheive balance. Any thoughts? I am going to play with it some more and see what I can come up with.
