Hitting the dirt track has never been easier with the all new 1/10 Basher BSR BZ-222 Racing Buggy!
Available in 3 different versions; Ready to Run (RTR), Almost Ready to Run (ARR), and a roller chassis (Kit) with no electronics, we have something for everyone!

The BZ-222 chassis can be configured for mid, or rear motor layouts depending on your preference or track conditions. An adjustable slipper clutch means you can efficiently dial in the power for optimal traction. A stiff 3mm alloy chassis can take a beating and come back for seconds. Like all racing buggies, the BZ-222's suspension is fully adjustable for toe-in, camber, and shock position. Speaking of shocks, the BZ-222 comes with full alloy shocks as standard equipment. The threaded alloy body has an adjustable collar so you can tune your spring pre-load to perfection.

The centre-line battery tray will fit most standard hard case LiPoly batteries and still leaves plenty of room for all your other electronics. With the right spacers, the chassis will even accept "shorty" race packs. There is a steering servo saver included as part of the standard kit and adding to the durability is the unique belt drive system that runs between the spur gear and the differential. The belt adds a small amount of give to the system, which helps reduce shock to your gears and motor.

With high performance pin style race tires and foam inserts pre-mounted to dish style wheels, rounding out the package is a multi-colored, pre-printed plastic body.

Show the others how it's done at your track with the Basher BSR BZ-222 1/10 scale buggy!

It's a very cheap 2wd buggy but looks quite nice. I'd recommend some fettling before you drive though. Mine is built in mid motor which needs some work with a dremel - the driveshaft and top link hit the gear cover before the car bottoms out. I've also found that the kit camber on the rear makes the driveshaft bind in the diff cup which could lead to a breakage - you'll need to reset camber in mid motor.

Alloy bulkheads are essential. I purchased 2 cars in the sale so that I had plenty of spares - hobbyking could do with restocking these more often.

Buggy is a great start to the club ive joined belt driven so better handling even the rear mounted motor as standard..
the buggy is much better previous videos i see the tyres have changed but they had to go as they were making the buggy go in some kind of weird handling.. so fitting schumacher Mini spikes front and rear yellow dots the buggy changed characteristics..
Spares and upgrades are brilliant ive ordered the spring kit front and back (2.49 a set)
also after some noise from the diff ive ordered the ball diff yet again a must upgrade (10) also carbon front and rear shock posts as the stock ones are going to snap..
also the pitch on the spur 32 had to go so a Team associated B4 87T 48p spur fitted straight on (4.50) so now the buggy is in the top 3 figure level..
Yes i would recommend this 5/5 Hobbywing

Realy impressed, threw electronics in and took it for a spin, trimmed it in and it was perfect, straight lines all the way. Really impressed, whoever setup the chambers toe and the things did a good job out of the box.
The quality far surpassed my expectations.

The tyres people said was bad but I can say for a budget car I have no complaints. The tyres are quite soft and probly shredd away in no time, but hey ho.

Gears are 64 spur 15 pinion in 32dp. giving a ratio of 8.53 which is right on the money for 10.5t motor I put in.

Really pleased

Great value 2WD buggy! I'm running the midmotor setup. You have to modify the dustcover a bit and go to smaller spur gear to run midmotor. Running 87t 48pitch spur and 28t pinion with 17.5T motor. The belt drive is nice and I'm still running the original belt. Check the gearhousing for the belt not rubbing. I run the belttensioner just slightly tightened. I have also bought the BZ-444 on sale, but the 2WD is way more fun!

pretty good build overall, changed it to mid motor and found the drive shaft hits the spur cover, also found plastics a little brittle and broke very easy. i rolled the buggy over on a astro track and broke a shock tower and C hub

The belt transmission is a total fail. Destroyed the belt on the first run, even after careful adjustment before use. Wasn't even using a powerful motor, just an ezrun 3300kv on 2s. The rest of the car appears to be ok except for the wheels which are out of round, and the body shell is as brittle as glass.
