BSR BT-4 1/10 4WD Touring Car is the second on-road racer from BSR, using the highly successful Team C TR10 chassis as a starting point with a bunch of racing enhancements already included such as carbon fiber shock towers, a rear gear diff, low profile ball ends and super smooth aluminum shocks. This is a perfect entry level touring car or a new kit for any driver who knows they don't need a bank loan to buy a competitive car.

We have set the RTR version up with a 21.5T motor which is a common novice class in most countries now and gives the driver enough power to keep things exciting but limited enough to be controllable.

The geometry on the BT-4 is designed for top level on-road racing and includes adjustable ride height and droop, camber, toe and roll centers, steering throw and Ackerman as standard out of the box with a huge range of option parts available to set the rear toe, chassis stiffness and body roll. We have had drivers all over the world testing this car and the resounding response has been "I can't believe how good this is for the price".  Most agree that the chassis offers an amazing amount of grip because of the level of flex in the chassis.

It's the attention to detail that stands this car apart from others in its class, from the chassis cut out to allow the motor to be mounted as close to the ground as possible, to the CVDs front and rear to the extra-long body mounting arms on the rear that help keep the body as rigid as possible to the top mounted servo bracket, this is an all-round race bred kit. It even includes a highly resilient polycarbonate race body and racing slicks with dish wheels.

This car comes pre built with a transmitter and receiver. All you will need is batteries. Eventually you will want to start fine tuning your chassis with SHOCK OILS and SET UP & TUNING EQUIPMENT, we've got you covered and at prices that can't be beaten. On-road is all about setup and TIRE choices which is half the fun, you are the driver, mechanic, engineer, pit crew and team manager, a one-person race team.

So get ready now for the next on-road season, get yourself a BT-4 and START RACING!

I already wrote a review for this, but after using it quite a bit, I realized I didn't praise it enough the first go 'round. This is the only hobbyking car I have ever purchased (and there are many) that was honestly ready to race, right out of the box. The servo is great. The power system is great for spec racing in the 21t class. Amazingly, I haven't needed to touch the suspension yet. It's very neutral handling right out of the box. It will transition predictably between over and under steer depending on throttle input. It's perfect. Even the tires are competitive. Naturally, you'll want tires suited to your particular track, but the included ones are good enough to race. I only have one complaint, and that's the weak body. I kissed a barrier today in a slow speed corner, and the front of the body just shattered. It wasn't even a hard hit! Besides that though, this is the best sorted car hobbyking has for sale. It's expensive by HK standards, but anyone who buys it will be pleased. Well done HK, this is your best car yet!

I picked this up on sale, but after seeing how nice it is, I think it would still be a bargain at the regular price. I'm really pleased HK has listened to criticism about the power system of the BZ-222, and fitted this car with a proper, race-ready motor and ESC. I also think the servo is quick and strong enough that it won't need to be upgraded. At 21.5T it's a bit slow for running up and down your street, but it's a very popular race class for indoor carpet racing. The chassis is easily the nicest of any of my HK cars. It's mostly carbon, and the suspension and steering is slop-free. This is still an entry level kit, but everything is good enough to race right out of the box without needing to upgrade anything. I wish it were a little cheaper, but bear in mind this is a much higher spec car than what you typically get with a hobbyking RTR.

Don't buy this car. You would be far better off getting a used brand name car. This car will have a hard time keeping a tune due to all the parts being plastic. You have to buy the programming box for the ESC and you will need it since there is practically no braking. The body is warped at the front and doesn't come anywhere close to the ground on the right side.
