Basher "PitBull" 4WD 1/18 Mini Desert Buggy (ARR) is just like its namesake, small, tough and aggressive and should never be underestimated. This little desert buggy is the perfect crossover between indoors and outdoors and will happily jump down the steps at the back door and scream around the yard with no risk to your precious plants or lawn. But don't let its size fool you this 4WD is capable of serious speed and can take jumps that are usually reserved for 1/10 off-roaders.

The PitBull needs all the grip it has in its super soft tyres to transfer the power from the 3530kV brushless motor that is crazy quick on 2S and ludicrous on 3S, try this at your own risk and get some lead to put in the front unless you like driving on the rear wheels.

It has a super durable drivetrain and suspension but we know you are going to want to push the PitBull to its limits, so there is a great range of aluminium upgrades available to take it beyond what most people would consider reasonable abuse.

We have been running the PitBull around the office, the car park and the local playground for a while now and it's hard to give the radio back. So if you want a serious little buggy for fun inside or outside the house this is the one to get.

I really like this little buggy. Not too great in the grass, but on dirt or in your house it is pure fun. When I got mine the esc was not working, I think it was the switch and not the esc but i have not worked on it yet. I ordered a new esc and it has worked great. You need to put some shock oil in the shocks, that was all i did to mine. I tried it on 3s and 2s battery, 2s is all you need it will spin like a top on my hard wood floors with a 2s. I've some bad crashes and no damage yet. I will order another one just in case i kill this one. for $35 bucks how can you go wrong. Put a FPV setup on it if you really want have fun, it is so small you can sneek it in and no one will see you comming.

Buggy is ok but batteries suggested are wrong.
Battery tray dimensions are 100x34x18mm but battery tray is made to hold 6 cell 2/3 AA packs so buy closer to buy a max size of 100x31x18mm as the bodyshell clips onto the bottom of the chassis and clips into the battery tray by 2mm.
Battery tray dimensions are wrong.

This is a great car for the price. My motor got pretty hot on a 3S even at half throttle. It honestly doesn't need a 3S. It is too small to got that fast. A 2S is plenty. Lots of fun and well worth it.

I had the turnigy 1/16 monster beatle, loved it, but had to sell it. for the price and optional parts, it is worth the look. and if I can get it up 50-60mph lol, be awesome. Looking forward to another great HK product!

the car is really a basher, the small diameter brushless motor looks really cute and nice but really strong, even too strong for the car. I use 3s battery - the only one i have, - it is too fast, really should use 2s to have better stability.
good car for the money, the parts are all plastic inside out, but not a problem, and it probably needs the flexibility from plastic to avoid breakup.

This is a great RC buggy. Very durable and fast on 3S battery. Motor and ESC hardly get hot. Because its so small, it can take crashes that would end up with broken parts on the larger 1/16 and 1/10 scale cars. I love it and ordered and second one for my 9 year old daughter.

All parts are in plastic, servosaver to soft, Badly stuck tires. This car is too fast in 2S for a child but it is fun for me ;).

Recieved my basher in the post today. Stuck a turnigy 2s 1700mah in it and it does shift some. Nice ltitle buggy. Build quality is brilliant. Whit it being small it is a but of a squeeze getting everything in but there is enough space for everything.
Only bad point I can see is when connecting the battery. With it being so small it is hard to place the wires but other then that brilliant
