Basher RZ-4 1/10 Rally Racer (Pre-assembled Kit) When deciding on a new RC car the first question most people ask is whether they want an on-road or off-road car, well why not get a model that does both? This superbly built rally car is based on a race proven touring car with a significantly raised ride height and 2mm aluminium chassis that is just asking to be run on a variety of surfaces. You want to bash on a dirt track? No worries. You want to race your friends around an asphalt special stage course? Not a problem. Snowing outside and feel like a bit of Swedish rally action? Go for it! In fact, like its full scale cousins, the RZ-4 will take to just about any terrain you want to throw at it, even jumps won't phase this car.

Everything about the RZ-4 says quality, from its silky smooth aluminium shocks and whisper quiet drivetrain, to the aluminium shock towers and orange anodised bulkheads and hinge pin retainers, to super resilient composite suspension arms, nothing has been left to chance. It even comes with an oil filled rear gear diff and front spool (locked diff) at the front for that point and power-down-action you want from a true performance car.

Even with all this great gear it wouldn't be a performance car if you couldn't modify it so we have a huge range of option parts to go with the RZ-4 so you can tune the tires and wheels, anti-roll bars, steering rack or shock springs to name a few to give you plenty of tinkering options.

This is the pre-assembled version of the RZ-4 without electronics so you can decide on the speed controller, motor, radio and servo you want to use.

A lot of fun!

I don't have enough r/c experience to give a good "comparative" review, but I'm really happy with this purchase. I bought ARR. Fast and fun. I've put it into a number of high speed roll overs on pavement and the body is fine. I put together my own light kit which looked really cool, but I didn't secure the wiring well enough and it got tangled in the drive belt, which ripped up the wiring and severely damaged the drive belt. The belt hasn't broken yet, even with a bit of continued use, but I do dread that it will. Hasn't been available, but now is for $18 plus shipping from Hong Kong. That's the down side.

Amazing car! I own an xray t3 11 and this car is as good if not better in some ways. I can tell the plastics might be more durable on the xray but that isn't saying much. To be honest I wish I bought this car in the first place, I would never need the xray. If you are a racer than this car is easily competition ready. Buy it, trust me you won't regret it! !!

Was very excited to get one of these. Got a kit and installed Hobbywing WP10BL60 ESC and 3900KV 10T Trackstar motor. Works like a rocket. Haven't checked the speeds with a radar yet but wouldn't be surprised to see numbers in 40s on 2S and 60-70 miles/hr on 3S. My car flew on 3S on road. Has good control on carpet. The transmission and belt driven design really make it a great indoor car. Very very smooth and fast. The chassis is great quality and most of the parts are of good quality.
BUT - this thing is NOT meant for off road use. This is such wrong advertising by hobby king. I am so disappointed and surprised that they are marketing this as an off road RC. Tried it briefly on gravel (5seconds tops) and had my rear belt damaged. Next run on paved road another pebble broke one of the pinion tooth. The right steering assembly broke when I hit a curb on an indoor track at low speeds. Crazy glue worked this time. A roll over broke the flimsy spoiler on the body which is also made of poor quality plastic.
Not very strong parts support in USA. Have to get everything from Hong kong which are very expensive for hobby king standards.
The only thing that still has be smiling is that Xray T3 parts can work on this model and they are readily available in the US and are in fact cheaper!!

Nice car. Very strong. Run very fast with 6.5T 5485kv motor. Well assembled. Accurate steering. Good 6061T6 aluminum parts, good rims, good tires. Good shocks absorber. Hex head screws, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm mostly 2mm. Delivered with 24T motor pinion, can put bigger. Spur gear 84T 48P. Need a servo saver. Not an off road car because transmission isn't protected. Don't like gravel. Body is quite weak. I like it.
