The first thing I do when I get this ESC is open it and check for welding, and if there is any thing can get shorted. Low cost ESC sometimes welding by hands, with the vibration on plane, things can go wrong.

I have tested this with a 4" fan at 6S lipo 3600mah, runs good at 70A.
Next day I plugged a 8S A123, it still works fine, this is good for me, some 6S ESC can't work under 8S A123.

Will try bigger current to reach 2KW.

Very nice speed controller. I installed it on a power system running about 1800W - WM400MK2 EDF powered with a 3200kv Velocity Motor on 5S. With the default settings the fan turned great, I got better speed than the same setup with a Castle ICE 100A. I'm not sure if I would want to run the full spec on this ESC - although the ESC itself might be up to it, the wires are 10AWG all around. However, for a 100-150A application the price can't be beat!
