Good ESC, But Watch out if you modify them with SimonK's firmware the Motor wires are not isolated and can be easily shorted by the heatsink!

Great ESC, although it's not really 30A, but we're used to that from Birdie.

25A MAX, 30A 10 second burst, and it heats up pretty good :)

I opened my Bixler up a bit to get the airflow and now it's great.

Used this ESC to replace a 30amp eflite esc that blew in my parkzone SE5a.

Birdie ESC was easy to fit and did not have to be re-programed. Model flys very smothly with this new ESC.

Overall im very happy with it!

I have few of these. They are OK ESC's but be aware! The shipped ones may not have the same programming options as stated above. You can not pull 2A from BEC but you can pull 1A (normally you will need like 0.2A).

One I got had short circuit between and -.

It is old design and heavy because of extra (useless) cooling plate.

Just got this. Hooked it up to the receiver and battery to center the servos. Started to make that tell-tale smell when electronics are going bad (like a short). Something must have come out either end of the shrink tube as it left a stain on the foam board. Smoke? I didn't see as it was out of my view. Didn't even seem to detect 3 cells on the battery at first. It does now, but the throttle response is terrible. Stutters terribly, especially at lower throttle. This is hooked up to a park 450 1050kv. With another ESC, the motor is fine. Impossible to return, unfortunately. Wish the plush 30s had been in stock.

Good ESC. Works very smooth with 2610 motor. There's one trick about it: it has 2 heat sinks. So if you plan to glue it inside edf duct it's not a good idea because the other heat sink which is under the sticker (for BEC I believe) will overheat. It has to be placed such that air circulates from both sides.
