This is a very cheap ESC. I managed to fry it under too much load with my 500 with smoke and everything! Don't try and spool up a 500 motor too fast with one of these powering it. It did hover my 500 fine with slow motor spoolu-ps before it died tho. 0 - idle 1 80pcnt was too much for it understandably.

I have more than ten birdie esc's . 1 i have discarded when my boat sunk and the elektronics where toasted by a short circuit. All the other ones are fine and deliver mega performance. These esc are ideal for the bixler. Easy to solder connectors on it (i use xt60 and 4mm bullets)

i was surprised by the size of this esc. its big and heavy. programming through the transmitter is complicated. the plush's are much easy to program than these

I don`t know if the one i got is broken or not, but it feels like it will only give 60-70pcnt throttle. i Have tried all settings and different motor, but still same problem.

Went up in smoke after a total of 5 min of motor run time (50 Amp)
It was installed in a glider, and hasn't seen more than 1 minute of continuous running. The strange part is that it went up in smoke during the glide and not during motor run. Fortunately the glider was already in its final leg of the landing circuit. Last time I put something cheap in something expensive ;)

Birdie 60A Brushless ESC w / 3A Betz a very good governor, I put on the engine with the consumption of 50 A for 3 minutes, he works at full throttle, a little hot.

Put about 20 or so 10 minute flights on it and was pulling between 40 and 50 amps and it never has even become warm. Easy to program, but came with no instructions but the manual is on HK . The issue I've had is that when I program it to recognize a lipo, it doesn't work. So I put on a voltage alarm and set it to "nimh auto" which is dangerous but not without an apartment. The other is it is big and heavy. Other than that it works perfect.

Great esc. Worked without programming it. Good large heat sink and also the heat shrink is not covering it to allow even better cooling. Used 29amps on 3200kv motor running a 4.5x4.5 prop on a windrider elebee.

this product was easy to program and worked well out of the box no flight test yet but soon! make sure to program as default settings are most likely not appropriate for most applications.
