having difficulty purchasing the motor for it. Being a 20mm dia requirement,. Seller unfortunately does not offer this as an additional item that could br purchased

Very cheap don't waste your money

Very poor plastic molding quality. Super soft and flexy plastic. Out of round and lumps on motor mounting surface made it impossible to mount fan and motor true. Fan scraped edge of housing and melted off under testing.
Very hard to tighten collet with fan mounted. Fan came off under testing.
I do like the 12-blade fan. However, one of the blades was distorted and not true. Like it was melted or still soft coming out of the mold.
With better quality control this could be a good unit.

OMG - It broke on 2s

Oh dear ! It did feel a little flimsy / flexible when I got it .
I was able to balance the fan butter smooth .
Put it into a build and thought I better do a test run before flying .
Well half way through a 2s Battery there was a popping sound and suddenly the fan was vibrating . Looking inside it appears that a part of the body that the motor bolts to has broken off .. Fan vibrates like a washing machine now . Not sure if there are only 3 bolts for the motor now ? Will have to dig the fan out .. This could not happen when I was balancing the fan ? No of course not .
Love the 12 blade fan , The part the motor bolts to EDF body , might be a little weak .
Especially if it breaks on 2s

Good fan, power hungry!

I know it says so at the bottom of the product page, but it's worth reiterating...check your amp/watt draw with this fan!!! It is power hungry! Mine drew 54.32 amps on a 4s pack, for 761 watts, with a 3500 kv freewing EDF motor. It's an animal. It sounds really fantastic, far better than the 6 blade unit I replaced. Unfortunately thrust seems very similar to the 6 blade unit (judged by flying the plane, I didn't measure thrust), but draws far more power. On my freewing 64mm F15, It has unlimited vertical. These fans with a lot of blades aren't very efficient, but they sound really nice. If you have a motor and ESC that will handle 800 watts in a 64mm package, this fan is a great option. Just realize it will cost you flight time compared to a fan with fewer blades.
