Thank you to everyone who participated in May's edition of HobbyKing’s Crash Cash. The multitude of entries we received was tremendously amusing and at the same time, nostalgic. 1) Where are you from and how did you get into the hobby?
"I am from Epsom, Surrey, England."
2) What’s the story behind your RC model and the crash?
"I got this great plane and had really started to trust it and my skills were progressing well. Unfortunately, I was flying invert a little too low and pulled my elevator the wrong way. Down it went head first into the ground."
3) What's your favorite RC model and why?
"My go-to is my green tundra. It is so capable and forgiving and you can fly it well on windy days. But also my hurricane and Corsair are great flyers. Though both have seen better days."
4) What is the best part of being an RC pilot and why?
"There is a mix of joy when you successfully conquer a plane or maneuver, anxiety when you maiden a plan or make a mistake, and pride when it all goes well."
