Thank you to everyone who participated in September's edition of HobbyKing’s Crash Cash. The multitude of entries we received was tremendously amusing and at the same time, nostalgic. 1) Where are you from and what's the story behind the crash?
"I'm from Devon in the UK and got into the hobby when a neighbor taught me how to fly when I was little. I'm not a great 3D pilot but have been practicing a lot recently, unfortunately in this instance, I was too low to the ground. Note to self: practice higher up!"
2) What's your favorite RC model and why?
"This Hobbyking Yak 54 was my favorite model before its end. It was just such good value for money compared to other 30cc models available and such a good flyer!"
3) What's the best part of being an RC pilot and why?
"The best part of being an RC pilot is staying active and getting out to meet friends. It also teaches so many different skills from modeling to electronics."
