The Boom Stopper will help stop short circuits blowing your electronics up. Simply plug in the Boom Stopper between the power source, usually your batttery, and the components you are wanting to power for the first time. If there is a problem the inline 2A fuse will blow, instead of your components. When the fuse is blown the LED will light up indicating their is a short circuit and the Boom Stopper will reduce the current to a level that won't immediately damage your electronics, giving you time to remove the power supply.
A great way to prevent issues with ESC reverse polarity problems and a must have tool for new build drones, with their multitude of wires, complex power distribution boards and numerous ESCs, it's easy to get a component reversed. You can avoid the chance of a costly mistake simply by using the Boom Stopper the first time you power up your project.
Oh and just in case you weren't sure DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLY WITH THE BOOM STOPPER ATTACHED OR START YOUR MOTORS, it is purely to check that you don't have a fault in your wiring. With a 2A fuse you won't get very far if you do try.

This thing is as simple as it gets. Anyone that can build a quad could build one of these in no time at all, but coming with 10 fuses and the handy LED, it's a better deal to buy this.
I always cringe when I plug in a board for the first time after some delicate solder work. With this, I can plug in with confidence, and fix a problem if there is one, rather than watching my new gear go up in smoke.
