BSR Racing BZ-444 1/10 4WD Racing Buggy (RTR) is the first race ready 1/10 4WD buggy from Basher's race brand BSR. This is the perfect introduction to off-road racing or just to head to your local track for a bash with your friends.

The BZ-444 comes with a race proven tub chassis with centrally placed motor mount for excellent weight distribution and a suspension layout designed to be tuned to the track you want to use it on, from indoor carpet and clay to rough and dusty outdoor tracks. It is also built tough for the most demanding conditions so you won't be missing races because you misjudged a jump.

The BZ-444 includes many features of a top end racing buggy such as front and rear ball diffs, oil filled adjustable shocks and quality, soft compound tyres. Inevitably you will want to tune the buggy even further so there is a huge list of spare and upgrade parts that will allow you to customise to suit your style and conditions.

But we didn't stop at just having a quality chassis, the BZ-444 RTR also comes with the super reliable Trackstar 80A Turbo Sensored brushless ESC and TrackStar 10.5T sensored brushless motor, both of these are ROAR approved so you should be able to turn up to most tracks in the world and enter a race. The 10.5T motor will give you enough power to even enter mod races. The other advantage of this set-up is that if you want to enter other motor classes you will only have to change the motor, unlike most RTR cars where you have to get a new esc along with a motor.

You also won't be disappointed with the included HK-GT2E radio, it's definitely one of the best RTR radios on the market.

The BZ-444 is the new standard for RTR 4WD buggies so grab yourself one and set the standard at your local track!

This is my first RC car so I don't have much to compare this to. But I'm really having fun with the BZ-444! After unboxing it, I've adjusted the pinion/spur gear mesh and tightened the motor mount screws up and used lock tight (after a short run to heat the motor up...). Other than that I've adjusted the turnbuckles to the values from the manual and set the throttle end points.
As already mentioned, I'm really having fun with this car. So far I ran 2 packs through it driving around on tarmac and short (wet) grass and nothing broke (knock on wood!). For a beginner like me, the speed is just right (haven't measured it yet, but I guess it's something between 40-45 kph). The manual is very detailed and easy to understand.
The stock tires are not glued very precisely so they're a bit wobbly, but this didn't affect the car for me... As an upgrade I've ordered the slipper clutch assembly from the BZ-444 pro, on the long end I guess it'll save the (ball-)diffs - however most parts are on backorder at this moment...

All in all, I'm very pleased with it and look forward to have more fun with it :)

Really good buggy. I use 2s 30c Li-Po and it is really fast about 40km/h.
It is very funny buggy so I give five stars.

I have 3 of these, and while other reviews are correct, the center drive cups ARE garbage, the car overall performs well.

The body is PVC, so the wing will NOT survive even the first good rollover, and the drive cups strip almost instantly if you tune the ESC at all.

On the other hand, after upgrading the center drives to CVD (HTCT04026 from Hobby Recreation Products), and the spur gear to Kevlar (HTCT04026), this thing is a beast.

I tuned the ESC and it is fast, responsive, and a LOT of fun.

Rebrand of the TR04/minion. PROS : well balanced. Turbo ESC. Drive train well protected from dust. Strong plastic. Compatibility with Team C spares. Lot of upgrades available. Use stick batterie. CONS : Weak wing. Weak rear plastic drive cup TR4030 is stronger in my case. 10.5T motor a bit slow (turbo esc resolve this). Tires wear out fast. Shock absorber tend to open while runing. 25mm max battery height.

This car is an entry level racer. Need to check assembly before use. Ball diff. can be upgrade with TU0436 to have better durability. I like run it. It oversteer. At the actual price i recommand it.

Fantastic car, drives beautifully , fast smooth and tough( tested by my crashing it hard lol)
Check pinion gear to spur gear mesh and lock tight, losen ball diff a touch as set too tight.
Do this and this solid car with great performance.
Tyres wear out fast but still drives OK on slicks lol and any 1/10 buggy wheels/tyres will fit.

So I got mine when they were on a blowout sale for $65 shipped so please keep that in mind. As others have stated the rear connector cup tends to strip easily. I found that if I tried to change from forward to reverse extremely fast that the plastic cup would easily strip. I found this out my very first run in my backyard. It's an easy fix IF you can find the part. The part is TR4030 (Team C Nylon Connecting Cups) and it comes with 4 connector cups (2 long ones and 2 short ones), the rear cup is one of the long ones. The thing that sucks is that this part is HARD to find! When this thing runs, it is pretty fun but it is not as fast as I thought it would be but for $65 I wish I had bought a few more.

Pros: Well balanced. Rigid plastic. Turbo ESC. Efficient steering servo. Transmission well protected from dust. Good handling. Front CVD. Cheap spares. Cons : slow motor. Turbo or boost timing destroy plastic drive cup. Weak spoiler. 25mm max battery height. Tires wear out fast. Advised : verify that all screws are tighten. Verify that shock absorber are tighten. Add grease on ball diff. Change plastic drive cup before switch on turbo or add boost timing.

Got this car for a silly low price of $50 from Hobbyking. The car, for the price, is really good. The ESC alone is almost worth more than what I paid for the car. Quality seems okay. On a 2S 50C battery the acceleration is super, and the top speed is alright (maybe around 40-50 km/t). The handling is brilliant, controllable over steer and not a lot under steer.

The sensor cable keeps coming loose from the motor, and I had to recalibrate the ESC (the car started to drive by itself). Other than that, a really great car!
