Worth every penny and them some!

Dec 17, 2016

I have owned and built several 4wd 1/10th scale buggies in my 20 plus years in the hobby. The BZ-444 is the simplest, easiest to build. It has aluminum in all the right places. The only negative is the use of 14MM hex wheels and drives.

I replaced the 12s with 12MM hexes I had in my spare parts bin (Losi 22-4 parts). I started with 35 weight oil (I supplied) in all four shocks and 2000 rear diff and 5000 front diff fluid included in the kit. I used the longer camber link setting in the rear and set camber at 2 deg all the way around. A Tekin 8.5 motor and RSX speedo was used for power, and a 1286 Savox servo for steering.

Our indoor track is smooth and clay-like so Proline Dirt Webs got the nod. The BZ-444 was fast and smooth and jumped very well. It was easy to drive fast but needs to be driven with small inputs as it is very responsive. So this buggy is not only a bargain but will be quite competitive.

Easy to follow instructions. Packaged well and clearly labelled.. The build went well all went togethor snug.

Disappointed with quality of wheels supplied throw aways, and 14 mm hex?? replaced with 12mm. Spares not available as stated.. The car handles & performs really well. Diffs are goid quality as u would expect from Team C. For parts look up Team C TC4..

I bought this for half the price. This is a very good car with gear diffs, The chassis is plastic and warped though. I will not use it and fabricate a cf chassis instead. You cannot find a better price to performance ratio. I will get back with pics and or vids of the build

This BSR Racing BZ-444 Pro 1/10 4WD Racing Buggy KIT was on sale and even though I didn't need a another rc I just had to get. I really like building KITs so it's nice to see Hobbyking releasing these Un-assembled kit too. So far quality is fine and I'm happy.

this is a fantastic kit for the price. the build quality is up there with the competition grade kits. the hardware is quite nice, the parts have a nice finished feel as you put them together. For anyone who has had any experience building hobby grade rc vehicles this is no different. the kit does loose points for the manual, certain parts lacked the polish that other kits would have, a few diagrams are completely useless and the side notes are of little help. the stock shock oils need to be changed to a slightly thicker oil for more damping. Overall i would recommend this kit for anyone who wants a quality kit at bargain prices.

Well, I just received my Kit. And right from the get go I see printed on the box. CENTER DIFF WITH CLUTCH, After my initial review of the manual I zero in on the "Center DiFF", there is no Center Center DIff, its just the Spur Gear with a clutch....First Let Down...

Just a Update. I have been racing on Astroturf and Have been loving how easy this thing is to drive hard. I added a 1.1 front sway bar,Hardend Steel gears and a CF front tower. I also own a Losi 22-4 and I prefer This Bz-444 any day over it on high traction surface. This Team C/BSR444 IS just awesome!

Its a Team C T3v3 with a Composite chassis and aluminium goodies. Whats not to like. This is a great platform and this version less the carbon fiber chassis is fantastic for bumpy tacks with rocks that hurt the carbon fiber and it is a bit more forgiving. This is a amazing deal. Thanks for the sweet deal Hobbyking!!
