Mangelhafte Qualitt!!

Hey,
I tried this motor with a 12A ESC, but it doesn't have much power.
Now I use a 15A-18A ESC and now it has a lot more power.
NEVER USE A 3S LIPO !!!

Prop : GWS 8040

I havent pushed it with the 9x5 stated in the description but pulls a 170g foamie well on 2S and 8x3.8SF, combined with a HK blue series 12A ESC.

These little motors just aren't made that sturdy. They would do fine for a small airplane as they output a good amount of power, but all 4 that I bought exhibited startup/stalling issues. Try to throttle up too fast and the motor will choke (acting like other brushless motors do when only 2 wires and plugged in). This is awful for quad-copter application, i'll have to get different motors. A some quick research shows that this startup/stalling issue is a sign of cheap/bad magnets.

9x5 prop is too big and the engine is hot, with a GWS 8x4 prop is 13A with 2S 370mAh Nanotech and still too warm, better would be 7x4 but not here yet.
