I honestly don't like building 3D planes out of EPP due to flex but the carbon fiber helped

I would try the 2205 motor instead with this plane!!

I bought the turnigy 2204 and in a gym with no wind and it still needs FULL throttle to hover this plane with the 2204 and still struggles. I'm using a 8 x 3.8 prop so not sure if another prop would make a difference but I think I'll buy the 2205 motor and try that one instead.

This plane is a good plane to fly. The only down side to the flying is the wing are super flimsy and at speed they flutter uncontrollably and you need to slow down or the aliens won't work and you'll crash. I more down side is the build it is so hard and the instructions tell you completely nill I wanted to destroy the plane while build because it was so hard, confusing and frustrating.

Excellent model, very docile flight, however, the ailerons should be strengthened or replaced with a stronger material, because in certain maneuvers they shake, and destabilize the flight, resulting in the fall and break the model. But.. I recommend to everyone!

A good plane to learn 3D.
My configuration is:
HobbyKing 2403 Brushless Outrunner 2100kv, TowerPro 9g w12A Brushless Speed Controller, Turnigy nano-tech 460mah 2S 25 ~ 40C Lipo, GWS EP Propeller (DD-8040 203x102mm).
In general, it is better to take the TURNIGY 2204-14T 19g Outrunner, but the motor was not in stock.
Necessary to strengthen the design and replacement of some parts - see my uploaded photos.
A. Elongation servo levers.
Two. I used a fiberglass chassis for flexibility on impact.
Three. Tape for hinges included is very rough, I glued (using an elastic adhesive) other (GFT-20x50).
Carbon fiber rods are best to stick to the epoxy adhesive, it is not as fragile as cyanoacrylate.
Flying Weight 200 grams turned out, but I'm not afraid of carrots, though.

I have bought this plane and I built it in 4 hours! It's easy to build, but the manual is ####. It flies great! I am using the 2205C 1400Kv Brushless motor, the H-KING 10A Fixed Wing Brushless Speed Controller, 9103MG Metal Gear Servo 4.4g / 0.8kg / .12sec, and Rhino 460mAh 2S 7.4v 20C Lipoly Pack. It flies very great with this electronics, but it is a little bit backheavy! I would highly rcommend this plane for a intermediate pilot!!

Hard plane to build! I have built multiple planes before and this one was the trickiest to put together i ended up giving up on it and not finishing the build. And i wouldn't say its "indestructible" when the parts were sitting on my spare bed and our dog got in and decided it would be something nice to chew so damaged the main body EPP foam. But might handle the odd crash OK? if it was built correctly?
