Dress up your next racing boat project with our CNC aluminum outboard style outdrive for your 500~700mm long boat project. This faux Mercury outboard motor features a CNC aluminum lower unit, mounting system, and a fiberglass engine enclosure. A flex shaft cable runs through the lower unit, terminating a a threaded portion with drive dog. This unit is ready to accept your 28mm watercooled inrunner motor.  Pre-run extended motor wires with 4mm bullet plugs, and a pre-installed water pick-up line with a water exit complete the unit.

A full set of installation and maintenance instructions are included. One cool feature is that the flex shaft assembly has a pre-installed grease tube. This means you can simply use a syringe of marine grease and inject it straight into the flex shaft without the need to dis-assemble anything. Mounting to your hull is easy, just need four bolts. The whole unit can be adjusted to fine tune the prop drive angle for optimal performance. As the whole unit, motor and all pivot on the mount, heavy duty teflon bushings reduce friction, yet are maintenance free. Pull-pull style arms reduces servo load for the utmost of precision.

Superb faux outboard. Well engineered and assembled all ready for a motor to be fitted. Comes complete with all fittings, clear and concise instructions, tube of grease and allen driver for coupler. Well pleased, thank you Hobbyking yet again

This motor is 6 inches tall overall
It is 4.25 from the transom bracket to the tip of the prop shaft
"Critical measurement" 2.25 inches from top of transom bracket to center of prop shaft
These outboards must surface run props or things get hot!!
I have three of these that have been converted to 2848 -3900 kv turnigy with hobbyking 70 amp esc's and 3s lipo 5800 mlh 60 c . I have two of these on one boat witch is 25 inches long deep vee, weight 4 lbs rtr and one on a 26 inch tunnel weight 3 lbs rtr , go like a bastard 35- 55 mph depending on rigging technique . Been running CNC 35mm dia props ,1.7 pitch 3 blades on both boats. these outboards not only look great but perform as well . Thank you Hobbyking, make some bigger for 40 and fifty inch boats
