CoLiDo have delivered some of the most exciting 3D printing solutions available today and their range of PLA and ABS filament is nothing short of perfection.

The latest range of PLA and ABS filament was developed alongside US experts with CoLiDo noting "the filament is the key element to precision output". Using high quality, consistent diameter tolerance filament helps reduce some of the issues with 3D printing such as nozzle clogging or running material etc. The filament also meets REACH standards, being free from harmful or hazardous materials.

PLA filament has a huge range of vibrant colors and opacity for that perfect look, whether it is artistic or utilitarian, in short PLA is great material for 3D printing. PLA can be printed without the use of a heat bead, and can stick to glass or a PCB plate with a binder such as hairspray or white glue for a curl free print.

3D printing is a fun and exciting hobby with a wide range of applications from prototyping parts to making toys for the kids. Selecting the right filament for your application is important to ensuring high quality results.

PLA Features:
• Lower melting point for easier printing
• Free from harmful or hazardous materials
• Lower shrinkage rate
• High rigidity with minimal flex
• Produces higher quality prints

Specs:
Filament Material: PLA
Filament Diameter: 1.75mm
Quantity: 500g
Color: Black

Note: PLA is considered stronger than ABS but is more susceptible to cracking when flexing, or on impact or torsional loads so the mechanical needs of the print project has to be evaluated.

Printed with Anet A8

After temparature test best results with 195C extruder and 40C hotbed.
Layer adhesion is great resulting in strong parts.
Dont print to hot or it will give you very bad results.
Keep it in a dry box, filament is brittle and highly hygroscopic.
Filament wants to unspool so hold it when released.

Bought during 'solden' / sales time so price was wonderfull and unbeatable
Printed superb models at 215C on a CR10 with E3Dv6 and brass nozzle (0.4) also worked on volcano 0.8 nozzle at 220C. (same temp settings as the esun white filament by the way)
TIP: for fab finish keep outer perimeter speed below 30mm/s (i do 25mm/s)

Prints ok, but my spool is wound in such a way that it always catches under itself. So far about 2hrs worth of printing failed because of this. I dont know how they managed to wind it on the spool like this but its very annoying, i have to unwind and re spool enough for each print to ensure it does not catch and jam. I like the Esun, cheaper and better.
