Corona DS-929MG is a fantastic small powerful servo. Extremely popular with good speed and metal gear. A cost effective digital servo for small RC planes, cars and boats or updating plastic gear servos with metal gear ones. Precise control and minimal dead-brand width, they are an excellent choice and recommended by our own electrical engineer, Nick.

Got one of these to try.
Works OK. Centres well but really lacks resolution at low speed. It moves in jumping increments so no good where fine accurate movement is required. Will use it for something other than a aircraft control surface. So therefore only 3 crowns.
Brought four of these for a HK 540 Edge EPP plane, found all four have poor centring and bad gear lash (slop)Good servos, I'm using them for my tilt mechanism on my tricopterBin sehr zufrieden. Dienen super Dienste in meiner Calmatogood servo for this priceTorque and speed ok for price but centering is not very good, alot of play / slop, mounting lugs break easily, 1st gear is plastic and ive stripped about 10 of them. Anyone know where i can buy replacement gears?Used these in my Outrage G5 helicopter (450 size) for cyclic servo's. Have run heli several times without any issues. Only problem I found were the plastic lugs on the servo fitting tabs, i had to pack them out to mount the servo flush. I used two spacers front and back of mounting tab, one cut down to fit between the lugs the other as a washer to tighten the mounting bolts.Love these servos they are digital fast, work great at 6v, and the gear-train holds up to most crashes on my CX450BA DFC.
Only complaint is that the case is brittle. So,either strengthen the mount tabs, or buy a couple of the analog 929mg for the case cover and gear-set. Awesome Servo at this price!!The mounting brackets are a bit weak. All four of my Edge's servos are cracked. With some hindsight.. I would stick some epoxy for to fill the underside of the bracket.Just super stuff, bought these for my Thunder Tiger Mini Titan E325s FBL as cyclic. They perform well and are strong. Will buy more of these in the future. Great value for the money.
