When putting the Aerosport 103 together I cut the wrong side of the rudder . This is the cover they used and it was the same color. Use low heat it install. It is a good covering to use and at a very good price .

Although this was called khaki some time ago, now Solid Amber (106) the colour is yellow and is great for the Piper Cub, I used it on a scale cub re build which is over 25 years old and it made the old lady look young again. If you want the matching paint colour use Humbrol Enamel Paint 69 yellow as the main colour and start with 12 drops off a match stick of Paint 18 Orange to the full tin of 69. Put a drop of the mixed paint onto the Solid Amber (106) film and spread it across the film as a test piece. Add a drop at a time until a perfect match is made and dont forget to keep stirring all time you are mixing.

Using this on my Flair Cub, it's just about as good a Cub Yellow as you'll get and is very easy to use, shrinks well and good adhesion. Much, much cheaper than any comparable film. Needs to be restocked as do the other colours. For the price I doubt this stuff can be beaten, please get the whole range in the UK warehouse!

I purchased this from the AU warehouse. The roll received was the exact same colour illustrated in the image. Labeled Amber and annotated 106 (HK ref. #), if you are wanting the same colour as a prominent brand name covering's "Cub Yellow" then this is it. I have a previously covered a Four Star Forty in <name brand> Cub Yellow, so I am familiar with the exact colour shade. The product has solid opacity, is quality film and as anyone who has bought other brand covering films in their short length rolls knows, this covering is fantastic value. Hobbyking covering for me from now on. I purchased 6 x 5 metre rolls of 6 different colours. 3 solids, 3 transparents. Really pleased with the colour trueness to the online image, opacity and quality of all. Well packed, super fast delivery and reasonable postage from the AU warehouse. Two thumbs up. Recommended.
