Contra-rotating propeller powered aircraft have been around since the 40's giving big aircraft the thrust needed for great performance. The Fairy Gannet and the Shackleton bomber both featured contra-rotating power systems from the factory, but at one time or another most of your favorites have been modified to accept a contra-rotating system such as the Spitfire, Thunderbolt and some Reno Mustangs.

The CR50 is the perfect power plant to sit in the front of your scale project, pattern ship or 3D airframe and with no torque reaction due to the contra-rotating props, doing big and precise aerobatics is within the grasp of all modellers. This compact system is sure to surprise you with the unique noise and its 4736W of power. The difference this unit will make to your model is vast and it is simple to install, keeping in mind that you will not need any offset.
Simple to assemble and all the hardware you need is included in the pack. All you need is two 80A ESC's and a couple of 6-8s packs and away you go.
The rear prop (which you will have to ream to 13mm) bolts to the front motor and the front prop slips over the prop shaft of the rear motor with the supplied adaptor. With quality bearings and dynamically balanced bells, this really is a thing of beauty.
