I just balanced a 1050 3S Zippy in stand-alone mode with my CY-B6. Using a $300 Fluke multimeter I got 3.139, 3.140, 3.136. All three cells within .004 volts is pretty darned accurate. Great product for the price.

I purchased this to compare to the two Equinox balancers I already have. The price was attractive if it works as advertised.

I am using it with a Triton or a Hughes RC charger.

The unit works as advertised, it is accurate as my cells are balanced within 10mV.

The unit works a bit different than the Equinox, you have to hook the main DC out to the pack while simultaneously connecting the balance plug to the balance connector. The unit seems to work by charging the pack while simultaneously balancing the cells. The Equinox works by varying the charge to each cell untill all cells are balanced and charged.

One note, download the manual from "Chargery.com", the manual that is included is worthless for all practical purposes.

Doesn't work. Unable to balance a single 3S Lipo in stand alone mode. Unexpected alarms. Unable to balance while charging.
Totally unusable.

I have been using my Chargery B6 Balancer for two years without problems. It balances my LiPo packs very well either in stand-alone mode or in conjunction with a LiPo charger that doesn't have a built-in balancer. Quoted cell balance accuracy is 20mV, and when I've checked my LiPos they are balanced to better than this.

The instruction manual could be better. For example, when used in stand-alone mode, the B6 beeps 10 times to say that balancing is complete. This is not mentioned in the instructions. Support from Chargery is excellent. Jason responded to my e-mail query very quickly indeed. Recommended

Works fine standalone - just balanced 2x 3S at same time - exact on 0,01V - just a little bit slow.

Balancing while charging is according to the booklet only possible with 0,2C way to slow!! - trying next days if more "C" is possible.

Wanted device as replacement for a defective internal balancer

Great balancer. I like it because I can use it without charger or while charging. Balance is very acurate less than 0.1V with my rhino 3s bateries

I recomend this item if you dont have charger with balancer or if you want to balance your bateries on the field.
