Machined from top quality aluminum, it comes pre assembled and we have used thread lock where you would expect. This is the short shaft version which lowers the head, making the cyclic control more precise and nimble. The loss of the flybar reduces the drag on the head, increasing the performance of your machine but also makes the head more efficient. This is more noticeable when doing autorotations, where you rely on the head to store as much energy as possible. It is also compatible with Align T-Rex 550 and 600 helicopters.

Hi, i use this DFC head from GARTT on two 450 PRO helis now and have to say it does job just fine. I have bought this as a spare in case of crash. The quality is same as other two DFC heads mounted on helis...
Just comparing weight reduction when moving from the 600GT head to this DFC head.
I weight the Flybar head in stock configuration with RJX paddles inkl main shaft: 412grams
This head with same functionality (as shown on picture main shaft alu fastening ring): 239grams
Calculated weight reduction: 173grams
Flight review to come when 600GT is modified - will keep stock swash plate for the time being.
