Built mime with motors and esc's from Hobbyking FPV 250 spec kit

Frame from Hobbyking FPV 250 spec kit was destroyed early on. Took the Multistar 1704-1900's and Afro 12amp escs and put into this. This is my favorite drone to fly. It will fly seemingly forever on a 2s 1000mAh lipo. Caution: do not use 5X4X3 props with this setup- it will be unstable. With 5X3X2 carbon fiber props it is amazing. It gets a little hard to handle for me with 3s, but really screams. And it comes in at well under the 0.55 pound (without battery) USA weight limit for unregistered drones, so you can fly to your heart's content without worrying about the FAA coming to your house, as long as you don't attack commercial/ private planes, of course. Have to add your own led's if you want lights, used salvaged smd's from broken Hobbyking Ghosts for this. Check your current with a VOM- the Ghost leds work well from 15 to 25mA, and I tested at 40mA for several minutes without a failure.

Lite, strong, and cheap. Paired with DYS 1804 2300, ZTW 18a, Naze32, Bluetooth, HQ5x3, NT 850 3s 25-40c auw 223g Hovers at 40pcnt and screams as eats real estate. Picture in file tab.

Simply beautiful. Top quality glossy carbon fiber, top quality hardware to assemble, which is very simple and easy by the way. This frame is strong and very light, about 30g fully built. I put my electrics from my 230 mini quad and saved 120g in weight , it was a bit of a squeeze . Goes like crazy with 1300 3s and baby beasts running 5x4.5 bullnose props. AUW with fpv gear is 360g.
