These retracts work fine. More stable than I thought. No programming necessary, just connect with Y-cable to receiver and make sure to have a powerfull BEC.Really happy with these. Work well and was able to drill them out to bit 5.5mm shafts in.got these for the HK DC 3... the description says 90 degree rotation. mine are not rotating so if you need standard retracts you are good. if you need rotating (corsair, hellcat, p 40) don't get these. maybe they meant they retract 90 degrees? They seem robust and have a positive lock. Also have a slower scale retraction time and mounting pates for both the top and bottom of the retract mechanism. Also some questions about the locking screws. They are M3 metric. Happy with mine so far.I've fitted thee in my kyosho spitfire a little fettling and they went in. I would say good for any 40 to 60 size model.Very fine retracts. I use them with the Phoenix Genesis. Perfect fit.
Note that this retract has no shaft delivered (5mm), which can be made from a bolt.
There are comments about the fact that you only can use this retract with 5volt instead of 6volt. I will use the BEC with 5volt, so can not confirm this.Funcionan muy bien. Son mas grandes de lo que parecen por lo que es importante saber las medidas para sabes si podran ir encastrados en nuestro modelo.Removed my mechanical retracts on my P51 as I kept on having servos burn out, installed these with no problems at all the mounting holes were exactly the same as my previous Robart units, all I had to do is open up one rib per side for the motor, they work perfectly and actuation is scale like.i prefer these to the ones with the metal trunnions as you can fit your own legs drill a hole with a 2.5mm drill then screw 3mm grub screw into the trunnionwhich will cut its own thred but dont forget to file a flat on the undercart otherwise the leg will move...bought these as a replacement for EFLG100s which stripped-out after a landing when they had not been extended soon enough and subsequently colapsed on landing. These Hobby King retracts are obviously made in the same factory, and I was thinking of using these HK retracts for EFLG100 parts. The parts, however, are not compatible, since HK's use a heavier-gauge lead-screw with a cast-metal slider. The stripped-out EFLG100s have a lighter-gauge lead-screw and a plastic slider. I was able and happy to modify my Mosquito, to accommodate the better HK product.very good. handles the weight
