Ok, so I finally assembled this, unfortunately 5 or 6 columns are not lighting up, and yes I am a beginner.
Still, for me having the rest of the unit actually working is a great feeling.
One thing I think is needed; is a way to test- in different stages of construction- mainly the mainboard- whether or not everything works.
I only found out there was a problem after all the work was completed.
Regarding the acrylic pieces, the covering was next to impossible to remove.
What I did was soak the paper covering with vegetable oil- (the only thing I had at hand at the time- actually probably any oil would work as well)
I let the pieces sit overnite, and next day the paper came off reasonably well

Hi, so i got these parts, and instructions in the Files tab, took about 6-7h to get is assembled and worked from the first time :), a lot of soldering on the LEDs to get them right, and the plexi is very bad, spent 2h to get the paper tape off them and then assemble the box, is has a remote with a lot of different modes(not documented what each button does) , in music mode it lights up bottom->top and changes how many LEDs light up, it can display text like: i love you, happy birthday etc and a few nice spinning patterns like hearts, spinning curved lines, etc. I tried to upload a video here but it doesn't seem to work now.

So I got this in a day and a half with some other stuff using DHL shipping (Great shipping option!!!!!)

However the pacjkage came crushed, however it was packed well and it seems nothing is borken, but there are absolutly NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!! Or parts list or ANYTHING USEFUL!


Without any of this it is just a useless box of parts.

Please give me the instructions on the build. DIY does not mean 'figure out how to put this together' it means 'Build it yourself with instructions!'

Completely useless at this point.
