Erst bei Vollgas hört man was.

Great motor. I've got mine in the Taft fan in my HK Cobra (you'll need a 100A ESC) and it puts out 2200W.

Mind blowing performance for your $$$

I bought 2 of these for my 6S cat and added cooling jackets. Performance is stunning . This is the 2nd race boat that I have fitted Dr Mad Thrust and they perform at the pointy end always. Thanks H/K

As an update to my previous review above. I installed the exact motor above that wasn't up to 8s and an EVO fan in a Taft 11 blade fan and ran it on 6s and it did amazing. LOTS of power and smooth running. Motor is staying cool and was a pretty easy fit. (just a little trimming on the shroud for it to fit)

Sehr zufrieden.
Funktioniert sehr gut mit original FlyFly-EDF @ 6S ca. 65A.
Hat auch kein Problem mit dem DPS Series 90mm 12 Blade EDF-Rotor bei 6S und ca. 85A.

Very satisfied.
Works very well with original FlyFly-EDF @ 6S approximately 65A.
Also has no problem with the DPS Series 90mm EDF-12 blade rotor at 6S and about 85A.

I put this in a carbon fibre jet see here http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&u=http://ascomsk.narod.ru/fx-27.htm&prev=/searchpcnt3Fqpcnt3Dascpcnt2Bfx27pcnt26rlspcnt3Dcom.microsoft:en-GB:MIE-Address
I ran it on ASPEC 2200mah 6s battery on a 7 x 7 prop and it screams through the air with that speed of sound and is as fast as my stratair viper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD2yT-aEzMY

Sorry to say that in my case these motors do not live up to their expectation. Totally different kV between 2 of the same motors (25pcnt). One pulling 105 amp (but choking the ESC) producing a lousy 1.45 kg thrust. The other using 122 amps (getting hot) and producing a lousy 2 kg of thrust with 90mm CSF. Had to cut open my brand new plane to get these out and replace them for 2x HetRC producing 2x 3.5 kg thrust. Still debating with HK on waranty.

I bought one of these and installed it in a Changesun 12 blade 90mm fan.
I used a red brick 125 amp esc and 6s1p zippy compact 35c 4500 battery pack.
This motor is awesome, the fan runs so smooth and i didnt have to balance anything.
I use this in the FLYFLY hobby topgun L-39 also from HKing.
This model took off in 50 feet and hand launches as well so easily it flies out your hand.
I will deff be purchasing more of these motors in future, on 6s and a 12 blader they a great combo for 2500 watts.
