Pros:
1. Metal cowl
2. Very sturdy
3. Well balanced
4. Crazy cool sound!
Cons:
1. Maximum measured static thrust - 450g vs. 550 advertised (given that advertised thrust is static, isn't it), with all inlets and cheater hole (next to impeller) combined section 2 times the area of impeller (the fan was not air-starved)
2. Maybe it's just me, but I could not disassemble it. So much for full-serviceable :P

Overall - satisfactory, pretty good for the price. I was able to use existing 3S batteries and a 30A ASC - so no overhead expenses for me, when I bought it. Installed in 650g scratch-built Mirage2000 (yeah, over-engineered and therefore - overweight), when trimmed good gave about 40mph top speeds. I would give it 5 stars overall just for sound :) , but trying to be objective.

Es werden 550 Gramm Schub versprochen... Pustekuchen...

absolut NICHT empfehlenswert !!!

Runs very smooth and quiet.

Draws 20 amps on 3 cells. I am going to build an F117 faceted foamie for it.

Absolutely poor performance. Put it on a 450g plane and could not get it airborne. I only measured about 100g of thrust on a scale. The only good thing about this product is that it's pretty sturdy, but what use is that if you can't even get your plane off the ground.

I received the unit nicely packaged and it looked high end, that is all it had going for it. I put it in my little 50mm f22 wanting the fabled 550g of thrust but it was pulling more like 150-200g which i wasn't able to keep airborne. I recently bought a 4s and cut two giant cheeter holes in the plane. With this setup I am able to get about a 4:5 thrust to weight. My plane weighs about 370g. I dont know if i did something wrong using this motor, but this is the worst product i have bought here so far.

Plane is 470g. Using 30amp esc and 40-65c 3s battery I don't quite have 1:1 thrust?
Not sure how (up to) 550g of thrust was measured but I seriously doubt even with a massive cheater hole and thrust tube anyone will ever see 550g of thrust on a 3S battery. I would say I'm getting 450g of static thrust. Sounds good but there is a little vibration at low speed, smoothest at high speed. May require a little tweaking. I'm curious what other people think???
