I have two other mad thrust EDF that i purchased 4 years ago. They came with a very quiet in-runner and deliver a very realistic turbine sound; very little noise coming from the motor. The also included a motor housing that may also helped with quieting the motor sound. This version comes with an outrunner that howls like a banshee and also has the wires interfering with the air flow. Very sad to see that in order to save a few pennies they killed a wonderful product. "The thrill is gone". :(

Antrieb nicht zu empfehlen, ist nach 22 sek. abgeraucht.
Wurde mit 4S 3800 mAh und 80er Regler betrieben.
Der Antrieb war schlecht gewuchtet.
Allerdings war die Rauchfahne im Flug beeidruckend.

Wanted to purchase a good quality fan unit for a scale Saab Viggen that I had just completed.

I Had 3 flights I was getting half my normal flight time with no extra speed or performance.On the fourth flight the motor quit.On examination the coils had burned out.I am now in the process of dismantling a model that took a long time to build to get this faulty unit out.

Bei 4s3300 nimmt der Motor 120A auf. Außerdem ist er schlecht gewuchtet. Vibriert sehr stark. Keine Empfehlung!

Had very bad luck : mine died when setting up the ESC on 4 cells, did not say it was'not my fault but sad it burns so fast.

too much energy

This consumes too much energy from the 4 cells. Yo and used lipo 4 turnigy cells of 65c 1400mha. Only this consumes it in 1 minute with half throtle ..
Why is this happening? I then use a lipo 4 cells of 16000mha. This yielded approx. 8 min. Why does it consume too much energy?

Is there a typo.
Two 570W EDF would produce 3.97Kg of thrust! That is 1.975KG per 570W! 3.4g/W!
For this 12 blades 3900kv EDF 4 cells, 570W at around 35A might produce 1Kg at the best which is 1.75gram per watt. I brought three of this edf, each would give me 270g at 100W which is the best already. At 700W it give me only 960g, all measure with thrust meter.
