The Dr. Mad Thrust Electrical Magnetic Brake System is the lastest accessory created specifically for EDF jet applications. The Dr. recognizes the need to slow a model down once the aircraft is on the ground. This simple system utilizes a electro-magnetic system built into the main landing gear wheel hubs.
Magnets set into the outer rim of the wheel react with the coil in the center hub. When a current is passed through the coil, the magnets react with the magnetic field generated and slow the wheel down, thus causing the aircraft to brake. As there are no friction parts in the wheels, they cannot wear out so reliability and longevity should never be an issue.
You can even use braking progressively to avoid locking up the wheels when applying the brakes. Just set them up on a progressive channel on the TX operated by a variable channel such as down elevator.
You get a pair of braking wheels and an Electro Magnetic Brake Controller. This plugs straight into your receiver for signal and draws power from an external battery pack, you can use anything from 3-10s LiPo.

These are awesome. The rubber is firm yet grippy and durable, it's not a thin wall tire. I have them on the FW 90m f16, direct drop-in. Care must be exercised while setting up that they don't stay braking for too long during radio programming, otherwise they could burn. If they are on right away unplug, Play with settings, plug in, try, unplug, repeat. Till they are working. My settings: only on If gear are out and down ele, set on a mix. A LITTLE oil helps keep them spinning nicely.Bought 2 sets of these brake worked excellent...worked good with 2s lipo. Many flight without any issues so far.Bought the item from HKing, the control board failed upon arrival. Same goes for the second control board replacement, also does not work.
Condition: LED does not flash after connecting power.
