OrangeRx™ have created another excellent receiver after listening to customer feedback. This lightweight 3.9g comes in a soft case to keep the weight down and can be used in multirotor or other applications where there is no need for a hard case to protect the receiver.

Compatible with all DSM2 2.4GHz Air transmitters and now featuring CPPM!

The OrangeRx R610V2 lite takes things to the next level by offering CPPM, true DSM2 compatibility and utilizes dual antennae providing true signal reception diversity! Add to this programmable failsafe on binding, ultra fast brown-out recovery and wide voltage input range. The end result being an unbeatable value for the money multirotor/aircraft receiver!

The all new CPPM functionality is an excellent feature for use with multi-rotor flight controllers such as the KK2.1, APM, MultiWii and others. This single line connection removes the weight and mess of additional wire leads for each individual channel. This is ideal for use on small frames where space is at a premium.

OrangeRx receivers are built using original components, MCUs and with state of the art SMT automation to ensure a quality product each and every time. Every R610V2 is manufactured using impedance matched PCBs with exact tuning to provide signal stability and range that exceeds any of the previous generation ORX products. In fact, our testing has shown that the R610V2 exceeds the range of other receivers in the same class.

All R610V2 Lite OrangeRx receivers are QC tested using our latest method that ensures range checking takes place as the receiver is programmed. Simply put, if the R610V2 Lite cannot pass the range check it cannot be programmed, this ensures 100% of R610V2 Lite are guaranteed to work flawlessly.

The R610V2 heralds a new era of quality, reliability and performance for the OrangeRX line up.

Excellent purchase, completely happy with the receiver

Dec 01, 2017

After binding, range check, and flying, it all works well at a fantastic price. Using this on a slow flyer, lightweight foamy so I stay within 150 meters with no problems. Recommended for budget builds.

Great product at a great price

Nov 26, 2017

Used it now for several months with no problems. Works great, range at least 200 meters, maybe more but the plane is too small to see if I fly it farther.

Doesn't always hold bind

May 26, 2017

I'm using a DX8 Gen 1 and so far have installed these RX's in 3 models. I'm getting the same bind issue i.e.they normally need to be re-bound for every flight. I had to cut open a scratch build to access the buried rx so now run a short servo extension into the battery bay to make things easier. I only paid £1.92 as they were on sale so not too disappointed

Good for the price but some issues

Mar 22, 2017

I am using this with a Spektrum DX6i, seams okay but it keeps loosing bind. The binding is straight forward but after a few hours it will not bind on switch on, so another rebind is required. Make sure the Rx is easy to get at or lay in an extension cable to take bind plug or you could be in for a frustrating day at the flying field. Have not tested range as yet but at this price it's worth a go considering I have had issues with Spektrum park fly Rx's mainly caused by digital servos causing brown outs. No doubt some Orange Rx's will have problems and some none, that's a price you pay for ultra cheap products. Overall I am happy with this Rx but I would not put it in an expensive plane or heli.

Customer Rated

Great RX as long as you use orange TX. I have a few of these and the hard shell version. They will not hold a bind or lock with my spectrum module that I use in my futaba 9uap but work very well with the orange TX module. I am using these in HK 250 colors, KK mini FC, LDpower ESC/motor combo, on 3s. I fly line of sight so a max of about 100yrds. I tested it using standard connections then went to cppm (no problems). I recommend these as long as you use orange TX. I will be getting more of these and the hard shell version.
