Reasonable price for this qualityGood heat gun but use low setting held a couple of inches out at least especially with HK covering. High heat is too hot unless you take great care. The price is quite good quality service is also good value for money.
It's curious, I hope useful, try one fourExcellent heat gun.
Yes its smokes a lot when first started, but this is because a good quality nichrome wire has been used when needs treating to be able to coiled up to form the heater elements. Cheap nichrome doesn't need this and you won't see any smoke when you first turn the heat gun on.
Running the heat gun for 5 minutes on high will burn this treatment off the elements.Better than the quality of similar products off eBay.De lo mejor que he comprado hasta ahora aqui, cumple perfectamente y muy barata!Excellent heat gun for the price.
Yes is does smoke impressively and pong for a bit, but I did as several people advised, ran it outside for 5 minutes to burn off the manufacturing residues and I now have no problem with smoke or smell.
It warms up very quickly, even on the low setting. Heat shrinking is now a very quick task, I'm never going back to shrinking heat shrink with the soldering iron again!Great quality and gets real hot. I normally only use it on the low heat setting.
Of course living in OZ I had to cut off the plug and put one of ours on it but that was easy.
Makes shrinking heatshrink sooo much easier.
Good product HKDon't get it too close to the film as it does get very hot and will melt the film in close quarters. Got to keep it 200mm out.very good after puffing out the smoke at first its all good
