If you’re craving speed, the EFXtra is where it’s at, with out of the box performance in excess of 100mph+. Durafly retained spirit of the EFX Racer and focused on adding extra performance, like the incredible roll and climb rates.
There are plenty of high-performance features and new additions over the EFX Racer. The Durafly EFXtra boasts a new clipped wing (975mm) to give extreme roll rates. An upgraded 3536-1780kv brushless motor (using ultra-high-speed Japanese bearings) with a 60A Aerostar ESC has been added, and optimized, for up to 4S performance. Higher speed, higher torque digital 9g servo's (metal geared on the ailerons) together with ball link connectors provide true precision control of all surfaces no matter what speed you are traveling. We’ve even included FPV mount in the box for the Adeline junkies that love to live life on the edge.
Durafly heard your calls and redesigned the airframe to fit larger capacity Lipo battery packs resulting in longer flight times. The aircraft is stronger than ever with both glass and carbon fiber reinforcements throughout whilst keeping the airframe as light as possible. Super Compressed EPO foam and polished finish to deliver the ultimate in performance with the sleekest of looks. How fast you go depends on the propeller and battery size. The plane comes with two propellers, for the standard setup of 3S an 8x6 prop or for performance setup of a 4S a 7x6.5 prop.
Complimenting the amazing speeds of the EFXtra is its stability at low speed making hand launching and landing a dream. The FXtra is also an agile slope soarer, just remove the propeller and spinner and add, the provided, slope soaring nose cone. Once again, the airframe provides excellent stability at all speeds to make it a breeze to fly in all conditions. Imagine slope soaring with FPV.
The EFXtra clips and screws together in minutes allowing you to get in the air as soon as possible. Just install your receiver and battery and you’re in the air.

It can run in fast and slow mode. I took a lot of photo in slow mode. I have to use 70% expo on aileron and 60% expo on elevator to control the beast in 4s 40c. The wing is durable, after several times of hard landing, it remained in one piece. I am going to have FPV on this plane,
hope it is a great fun!Great plane! It can fly in fast and slow mode. I have to use 70%expo on aileron and 60% elevator to control this beastBy far the best foamie ever. This plane has a huge speed range from blisteringly quick, to cruise mode slow straight out of the box! Versatile setups allow progression as you teach it to fly, start on 3s move to 4s and even strap on that massive codpiece and and squeeze in a 6s setup (definitely not for the faint-hearted). An amazing little plane that fits it the boot or back of the wagon for instant adrenaline rush at the field or on the slope. Buy this beast!Been flying this model now for around 6 months and wow what a plane well worth the money,
im now running folding prop with motor brake :) Durafly please keep up the good work ill be buying the V2 Vampire soon.I bought a parkzone F27q 2 years ago & smashed it into a basketball post at full noise & turned it into confetti. I'm a 3D pilot helis & planes so speed is not my preference, but when I saw the new EFXtra i wanted to have fun with speed again & boy I'm glad I did this thing is fast on 4s & flys on rails & flys slowly well to. So I bought 2 of them for different setup's one with a Talon90 (Castle) esc for 6s & 1 stock setup for 4s. So nervous to fly the 6s setup i have'nt flown it yet, still getting to know the plane. Awesome plane,so much better than the F27q delta wing. Everyone is impressed by its speed & strength of the wing. Landing it takes alittle to get used to,it's like a arrow in the air,it does not like to slow down. Get your's today.Flies great after some minimal assembly. Full speed on 4S is a fun challenge for me. Maybe I should get a new pair of prescription glasses because it get small fast. With 60% throttle rolling and looping through the air is fun too. Great model to keep on learning when more docile planes don't challenge you anymore. You can have it flying in about 15 mins, Great quality, very easy to put together and flies great fast and slow. Probably the best plane I have bought from HK and I have bought a quite a few!!!Out of the box this plane is ready to fly in 15 mins. Have set up control throws as per instructions but with a serious amount of expo set on ailerons and elevator. Had someone launch for the test flight but it flew straight and required no trimming. Using the 4s set up and its quick ! I have flown it against a 4s Stinger ( and I have one of these too ) and it leaves it for dead. Not sure its 100+mph as stated but it gives you an adrenalin kick for sure Only problem is I now want more speed. Its suggested a 6s and new speed controller will improve speed but now sure what battery will go in as the standard 4s 2200 pack is a snug fit.For beginner pilot I am using stabilization receiver like receiver from mini apprentice s because this receiver fit at efxtra at vertical position. I am using signal reverse for aileron n rudder. I fly by using Tattu 2700mah 3s battery. You can fly in beginner mode intermediate and experienced mode...for launch this plane please using beginner mode n this plane will fly beautyfull. Using experience mode for normal flying. YouTube https://youtu.be/oZeYKs7nHJoFor beginner pilot please using stabilization and 3s battery...I am using safe receiver from mini apprentice s because the position of the receiver is vertical n 3 mode (beginer, intermediate n experience mode) and for propeller I am using 8.5 by 5.5 from mini apprentice. This play will fly beautifully.
