The Tundra has established itself in the RC community and has now become the go to model for most RC pilots. From intermediate pilots to the more experienced flier this plane will do it all. The Tundra is an extremely versatile plane that is great fun to fly and is highly entertaining for all pilots with its excellent aerobatic potential, STOL flying ability and all round toughness.

The Tundra V2 has had further improvements over the upgraded original version. Vortex generators have now been added to the leading edge of the wing to increase the stability at slow speeds. The undercarriage is now more secure and easier to install thanks to machine screws and brass inserts, the plastic landing gear cross brace mount is now made of metal for improved durability. Also included is a newly designed battery tray and the V2 still retains the improved wing connectors and wing mount. The Tundra is molded from tough EPO foam which is beautifully finished and the Tundra design has a purposeful rugged look.

Whether it is flying from rough fields, water, snow or sand, the Tundra takes it all on with ease. The Tundra has a wide flight envelope making it ideal for FPV flying, aerobatics, glider towing, candy dropping or just good old-fashioned super STOL slow flying,

This rugged and reliable plane can also get into those tight and hard to land places with its huge flaps, vortex generators and extreme STOL performance. The large main wheels make it easy to land just about anywhere. Swap out the wheels for the supplied floats and you'll be flying from lakes, streams and other waterways.

This is the ARF version of the popular Tundra so therefore it does not come with the motor, ESC or servos. This allows you to customize your Tundra with your own power train and the servos of your choice.

A quick change to the included FPV canopy will give you more extreme fun flying. More excitement can be found utilizing the built-in tow fitting for towing your friend’s gliders to the best thermals.

Simply put the Tundra is an immense amount of fun to fly and you will be in the air reasonably quickly due to the very straightforward and speedy assembly process. Take on the very best mother nature can throw at you and still come up smiling. With the Tundra, there are no limits!

• Fast and easy assembly

Tundra V2

Wonderful plane. I did have to adjust the thrust angle by shimming the motor mount so the prop was angled a little right and a little down. Then if flew perfectly.

My first RC plane in the air.

Jun 28, 2020

Never been up in the air, in a nice controlled flight before.
And this plane gave me that. I even had a perfect landing on my first flight. So i can say to all new pilots, buy this plane. Have a few flights on it now. Have made som errors flying, resulting in crash. But this plane is strong, and easy to fix again. Now i am putting camera gear in it, and will go FPV, witch i think this plane is perfect for.

Durafly Tundra

May 13, 2020

Okay so this is my 3rd Tundra and I have had as many Max Thrust Riots all of which have been smashed to bits repaired and smashed to bits again since I started flying just over a year ago, so feel I know the Good & the Bad points ….
The new V2 Tundra has some great mods over the previous version, however for me the landing gear is still not up to too many hard landings, it will bend (a lot) and eventually fail
The V2 doesn’t come with any glue to stick in the vortex generators, so they just fall out if not stuck in, likewise the new battery tray, nice idea but no glue, both this and the VGs could have been factory fitted
And lastly the carbon propeller may as well be in the bin, the 1st roll over on landing you’ll have and it will crack in half, far better to have a nylon prop as standard…other than these minor niggles the plane is excellent
