The lightweight construction of this model, coupled with a proven airframe design gives this model a locked in feel while performing aerobatics, long smooth knife edge flight is a breeze. Many models of this size are often limited by linear servos or cheap components, but not the Durafly® ™ F3A! Featuring pre-installed, fully proportional HK-5320 Digital servos, a Turnigy ESC and an NTM-2400kv brushless motor. The build quality is just fantastic. Fully hinged ailerons are another example of why this airplane stands out from the crowd. Performance is of course what this model is all about and the Durafly® ™ F3A is no slouch! Power is delivered courtesy of the all new powerful NTM Brushless motor running on 3s, for reliability a Turnigy ESC is pre-fitted and the servo/ESC connectors are all compatible with the 4 Channel Orange Micro RX (R415). This model might be cheap to put in the air, but make no mistake, this is one seriously capable aerobatic model, just make sure you take a handful of Lipoly batteries with you when you go and fly, pattern flying the Durafly® ™ F3A Micro around your local park is addictive!

All connectors were ok and the 7 channel FrSky FASST compatible was bound to Futaba 8FG. Aileron, rudder and elevetor were working ok, but when I moved the throttle stick, the motor spun and run for about 10 seconds, then I felt something like decreasing power and then the motor stopped. Now when I connect the ESC to battery, aile, rud and elev work, but motor does not move and the ESC beeps constantly. Somebody from the Forum or from Hobby King can tell me what is happening?

Its much smaller than it looks on the pictures, but it flies like a pattern plane.
Its a little underpowered, but then I live at 1600 m (5500 ft) above sea level, with density altitudes reaching 8000ft. It will be a great flyer at sea level, or in cooler areas.
Its small, and fast, you have to be awake. I will only fly it in calm weather.
Being so small I can fly it at the park down the road.
It weighs in at 19 grams ready to fly.

What a cracking little model! Super value for money anyday. A bit of backlash in the servos but not too much. Will do for now. Mide arrived with the tailplane out of level, but soon fixed with scalpel and some Gorilla glue. Flies very well indeed with 3S 180mAh 25-40C Nanos. Recommended.

Ordered on the Wednesday, arrived Friday. good service. Double boxed with no damaged parts. assembled in about 30 minutes. No problems. The glue supplied was in a separated plastic bag - Good, but had almost emptied itself from the bottom of the tube - not so good. Set up - Reduced throw on all surfaces by about half. First test flight was on a slightly windy day 8-10 km/hr. Probably not good as the plane is rather twitchy. After a few short flights, had it flying straight and level. Loops and rolls easy as, nice and responsive. Disaster happened when I turned with the wind at too low an altitude. Hit ground and tail end snapped off completely. Not a hard fix, but found the two ventilation holes at the bottom of the fuse a weak point. Have strengthened the fuse in the repair and will test fly next chance I get.

The micro-F3A is just too small to fly well. The quality of components and construction is very good. But the high-density foam makes it too heavy to really perform. The tiny F3A will fly some pattern maneuvers but the scale speed looks like mach-3 to keep it in the air The wing tips stall with every move. It is so twitchy on the controls even with dual rates that I give it a hearty HF (hardly fun) rating. But think of it like this: after the third or fourth high speed impact with the ground through no fault of your own, you will be rid of that foam air frame and you can use the nifty electronics package in a really nice stick-and-tissue model that can actually fly.

Quality seems okay. Haven't flown mine yet so I comment on performance. It seems a bit over-priced for what it is by normal HK standards. Hope I love it when I finally get to fly it.

for the price it was better than expected, puts the parkzone micros to shame... First flight take off was squirly to say the least! Alerion Rates at 40pcnt Elevator Rates at 50pcnt with 15pcnt expo and it became an amazing little flyer! really really happy with it... Down sides are i put a piece of tape across the main landing great since they fell off mid flight, problem solved! Cockpit is a little cramped but workable! All around you can not do better for a micro at double the price! Thanks guys!
