I fit him to my Lancaster as a replacement. He works.

I love the Durafly F4U Corsair for flying but when it come to landing, the gear and this tailwheel are terrible. I have repeadly had to replace this tailwheel for just snapping off on landings and let me tell you they were not hard landings.

In both cases the wheel shaft snapped right at the swivel point. If this piece were made of metal there would be no issues but the fact that these parts are made with brittle plastic makes these tailwheels very low quality. I plan on replacing this tailwheel again and then trying to sell the plane. I'll go back to the Parkzone Corsair at least it has quality parts.

Very useful when you stall the plane and it spins straight to the ground ;)

This tailwkeel system is really nice looking but the strut that connects the wherl fork through the main shaft up to the steering arm breaks too easily. The break happens right above the wheel fork & needs to be made of a more solid material.

Screws right in and works great. Sure with the rod were actually metal and it wouldn't break as quickly.
