Excellent product, teamed with E-logger and GPS makes a very useful system. No problems with updating the firmware and configuring the logger and OSD. GPS also worked without a hitch. Everything worked first go! To see my first FPV flight with OSD, please follow the link below:

Exellent I purchased this along with the elogger and GPS for FPV. Works as well as all the other OSD that I have so now I need some of the other sensors. Make sure you conect the Elogger to the computer and set it up before you use it

I bought the OSD Expander on hobbycity. Unfortunately device worked only with NTSC settings and when I was switched to PAL the osd characters disappeared. I had no time for sending it back so I have repaired my OSD myself. There was miniature short circuit on PCB design on one crystal oscillator responsible for PAL signal generating. I think that Eagle Tree doesn&#8217t control the quality of products. So, one star for Eagle Tree and five for me :-)

Great for FPV piloting. I purchased this along with the eLogger for flying rc planes by video. It's easy to use and a must for FPV pilots. I've used other OSD's and this one is the simplest and can be upgraded with new firmware if needed. Great support also if you have any issues at RCGroups.com

Bought this from eagletree when it was first released and have to say that it is fantastic. Am upgrading to the pro when it comes out. Customer support from eagletree is topnotch as well

I bought the OSD a few month ago on another store and now here on hobbycity my second one.



It is really a great OSD. Very easy to install and use.

The minimum equipment you need is the egale tree datalogger.

All other senors are optional.

But for real FPV use, some other sensors are very useful.

GPS - for way to home

Altimeter - for more accurate altitude

Speedmeter - for real airspeed (stall!)



I use this components together and with the new firmware everything operates perfect.

Firmware updating and programming the OSD is very easy through a usb cable with a computer. (works on Win XP and Vista 32 & 64 bit without problems)



In a few month eagle tree will release the egale tree Pro OSD, with more functions (like radar map, better HUD,..) and they provide a upgrade from the OSD to the Pro OSD for only 20 USD.

Thats really great.

So buy now and use this wonderful OSD and upgrade later when the new Pro OSD is released.
