Nice EDF for Foam Planes

Nov 14, 2007

Pretty good for all types of light planes, I use mine as a replacement on an airliner which has been sold by Jamara some time ago. I've completely modified the original (toy-)plane, added servo's and rudders for yaw and elevator, new ESC and 3s1p 1300mAh LiPo. The original brushed motors are still on duty. But be careful - the blades might get loose during flight on high load! I've "lost" the original blades this way... therefore only 4 stars.

Nice little EDF

Nov 14, 2007

This is a nice inexpensive EDF. I am using it with a 20 mm, 4900 kV UH inrunner in a scratchbuilt depron edf plane. Please note the 19 mm max. motor diameter can be expanded to 20 mm. The motor housing has ribs like an ALFA fan which I ground down.
